MASTERCANOPY 100lbs Canopy Weight Sandbags (7"x18",Blue)

Needed to weigh down a canopy during a craft show. These seemed like they would be easy to fill (they were) and sturdy (also true). I expected them to be well-made, as they claim to be able to hold 30 lbs in each set, and while I did not weigh them, the claim seems well founded. They are really well designed, and the stitching is neat and tight. There is a plastic liner to prevent any liquid leaks if using wet fill, and the handles are very strong. Filling them was easy, and the zipper means that reusing the fill for other things is easy and possible. They are easy to lift and move, but stay firmly in place on the canopy legs. The velcro strap is strong and effective. Absolutely pleased with the purchase and highly recommend these weights. I can't speak to longevity yet, but they are well made and seem like they will last as long as the canopy, and probably longer.

Have used these several times now, not only do they work, they actually hold up!!

The overall construction and ease of use is good, but the 9" x 14" bags do not hold 25 lbs each as advertised (100 lbs per 4 bags). I used river rocks and filled in gaps with sand and was able to get 19 lbs. This would probably be enough to hold the canopy down, but I use these at markets where we are required to have 25lbs per leg, so it is frustrating that the listing isn't accurate.

It’s inexpensive, sturdy and very easy to use. No reason not to purchase this product. If you need to anchor your tent, problem solved.

Bought a 10 x 10 slant leg canopy bought at Dicks on sale. Needed for outside garage so I can work outside in the sun or move motorcycles out of garage so they wont be in the sun roasting. I am not taking this canopy down daily so I bought these to have piece of mind its secure in wind. So far its been weeks and we've had serious rain and some gusts of wind. Canopy hasn't moved. I also have some smaller paver blocks hanging from legs via coax cable i rigged before I bought these weight bags. Now...we have not had REAL wind >15 mph so I would not say this is a method for anything more than serious breeze. If you have strong wind coming, take canopy down. I filled pouches with 2 liter soda bottles filled with play sand. Easy, clean and will make storing easier.

Strong & sturdy fabrics & working well thus far. It took about 1.5 bags of sands/pebble I purchased from Walmart & filled all 4 of the bags to the top & they have Velcros to close them.

They work but I wish they were a bit bigger/heavier. I filled Ziploc gallon bags with sand and put inside of these. Velcro straps seem fine. Velcro top could be more sturdy.

Je l’ai rempli très facilement et rapidement avec du sable. Se fixe rapidement aux poteaux de mon gazebo avec les attaches velcro. La poignée est très pratique pour transporter les sacs facilement. Très satisfaite de mon achat!

Wir haben die Sandsäcke bei unserem sechsbeinigen Pavilion 6x4m auf die äußeren vier gestellt und sie halten ihn stabil, auch bei stärkeren Windböen, bewegt er sich nicht! Dabei stehen zwei Beine auf dem Steinweg, also keine zusätzlichen Haken eingebracht nur die Sandsäcke mit leicht feuchtem Sand gefüllt. Funktioniert top!

I originally bought plastic tubs with plastic screws , you filled these tubs with water/sand etc. but unfortunately the screw wasn’t long enough or good quality. So I opted for these sandbags that I filled with builders sand and smooth rocks. They have velcro straps and wrap around the gazebo legs. My gazebo legs are 6” so they just get around but they’re so heavy and secure that we’re confident this huge gazebo will not be flying away anytime soon.

Ho fatto il reso dell'articolo sia perchè è scomodo riempirli di sabbia, sia perchè avendo il velcro laterale, il palo da zavorrare (nel mio caso quello di un piccolo gazzebo in alluminio) scivola facilmente via in caso di vento. Usati anche per zavorrare un telo per proiezione ma il risultato è stato sempre insoddisfacente...50kg in caso di vento leggero sono comunque pochi...
