New product to me, and much needed.
Had no idea there was a special one for fused fabric until I read my pattern. This works!

Wish I could give 6 stars
I've used several different brands of bias tape makers. This one is one of the easiest ones I've used.First off, the handle is plastic so it doesn't get hot when using. The other ones I've used had a metal loop handle and it could get hot. Not this one.The fabric slit is on the bottom which makes it that much easier to pull the fabric through from one end to the other. The other ones I've used had the slit on top, surrounded by a thicker plastic, which meant it was that much more difficult to push the fabric through. Doing that on these ones is a breeze.I have only used it to make bias tape so far but it's nice to know it's double duty - can be used with or without the fusible tape...basically two contraptions for the price of one. I plan on converting over from my regular bias tape makers to these ones in all the available sizes.

Con-Fused
I really liked the concept of this product and would like it even better if I could get some helpful information regarding its use! I looked at several videos as to the correct width to cut fabric stripsand got different answers . One stated rule of thumb; the fabric width is double the finished width so for the 1" tool the fabric strip is to be 2" wide, another stated the fabric is 1 7/8 . Which I tried and both measurments were very tight. After measuring the tool I see the opening is less than 1"wide! Also I could not find the correct measurment for the fusible tape so I purchased 1/2 " steam-a-seam. Again the tape does not feed through the opening smoothly. Maybe i need 1/4"? Maybe it's me & my age ,but a little more information would be greatly appreciated. I did look on the Clover site and it was not helpful. I will haveto keep looking!

Definitely helps, but be aware of size.
This bias tape maker definitely makes it easier to make your own tape. You need to have your iron ready to immediately press the material as it comes out. I found it actually helped to hold the little gizmo so it was almost straight up and down with the point against the ironing board. One thing that should be pointed out is the size. I bought the "1/2 inch" size. Well, a half inch is what comes out as you press the material. If you are wanting double fold bias tape, your finished product will only be 1/4 inch as you will need to fold it in half and press it along the center.

Worked perfectly!
I have tried many different types of bias tools. This is the best I have found.

Takes a little practice.
Once I got the hang of this, it worked well. I used it with the Clover adhesive tape to make mountains of bias tape for a quilt. It is very important to make sure the width of your bias fabric is accurate, and ''getting it started' took some practice and a few well chosen #!# words! Once I got it started, it was smooth sailing. I'm sure I'll use it again.

Works good
This fusible bias tape maker seems to work good. You load your fusible tape into the top as directed to feed the tape through the applicator. There is a bit of a learning curve, if you pull too fast, you can stretch your fabric and then the tape can have some trouble adhering to the fabric. Slow and steady pressure is best.

Works Great!
This makes perfect bias tape and I love the option of adding fusible to it. I wish I had discovered these earlier rather than try to make bias tape with just my iron! It is very easy to use but the directions aren't the best but it's easy to figure out what to do and then you don't really need much in the way of directions. I used this to create a stem for an applique. It came out beautifully! I would not hesitate to buy this again or any other size. And I would definitely spend the little more to get the fusible option!

That the item does the job you want it for!!!!
I used for a stained glass applique project I was working on. Made bias to outline project. Very effective, easy to use. With fusible tape its excellent. Best to use new tape as I had had mine for some years and adhesive was not very good which meant I could only do short lengths at a time. Excellent if you wish to make your own bias tape.
