This monitor mount works great and feels solid once installed. It could be installed on either side. It easily supports my ultrawide monitor, and the full range of motion makes it easy to adjust the screen for the perfect viewing angle. The arm moves smoothly and holds its position well without sagging. My only recommendation is regarding the included mounting hardware. I personally chose not to use the provided screws and drywall anchors. Instead, I picked up heavy-duty toggle bolt anchors from my local home improvement store, which gave me much more confidence in the installation, especially with the weight of an ultrawide monitor. Of course, if you're mounting directly into wall studs, that's the best option whenever possible. But if you're mounting to drywall where the instructions allow it, I would strongly recommend investing in quality toggle bolts for extra peace of mind. Overall, the mount itself is excellent, well-built, and performs exactly as advertised. With the right mounting hardware, it's a sturdy and reliable solution for larger ultrawide monitors.

The only problem I ran into was that one of the nuts that attach the backplate to the mount had no threads I was able to find a suitable nut to replace it with but I can see how something like this might cause other people problems on install. This is something that could have been easily caught if some form of QC had been done. Other than that mount works great. And if doing this alone its better to create a template by tracing the mount onto paper before drilling as trying to hold the mount while marking holes and holding a level can be a little difficult.

This is a good mounting system if you are not looking for a lot of bells and whistles. Just a solid sturdy mount. I set this up in my work shed, to be used for my CNC machine and Laser Engraver. I've wanted to have my lap top safely put away for a while so having the screen mounted on the wall lets me mirror my laptop safely. Keeps the dust out of my machine, and nothing can fall on it! Positives: It was a easy set up, took about 15 minuets. If I couldn't figure out what a piece was by the directions, the parts key was very easy to understand. The materials are very nicely labeled, so it's easy to find the parts I need. Negatives: Would be nice to have it angle down more, but for the price I can live with the angle.

We needed a mount that had an arm due to the location of the studs in the wall and this worked perfectly. The only con I have is you have to mount it perfectly even because the mount has 0 horizontal adjustability so if you're off by a little, the monitor will look off on one side. This is manageable as the screw on the bottom of the mount can be tightened or loosened to adjust very slightly. Overall excellent mount

No idea why anyone would pay what stores charge for these kinds of mounts. This thing is solid and well made. It's relative easy to go together. It's got a bit of play in it that the most expensive mounts don't, but unless your mounting this in an RV I can't see it being a concern. The user who broke the plastic cover just didn't know what they were doing. There's cutouts to release the clips, it's really easy.

We bought this to put up a small tv in a wooden shed. It was great price and is really sturdy on the wall. We don’t move the tv angle so I can’t comment on how easy that would be
