Returning to my Catholic roots, I started listening to Fr Mike's Bible in A Year Podcast a few weeks ago. At first I followed along on some online bibles and apps, but then wanted a proper hardcopy bible so I can underline and take notes. This journal edition is Perfect for what I wanted! It's large enough to write in without overwhelming my desk/work area. The font is perfect - easy to read and easy on the eyes (I'm super picky about fonts). Margins are lined with dots rather than solid lines, and paper is still bible-thin but nice quality. I love love love the cover - the soft leather-feel, somber color and weight, and lovely gilded title. Also love the two color coordinated bookmarks and the gilded edges. The only "negative" are the blah endpapers, but no big deal - I'll just cover them with some images in the future. Love my new bible and am thrilled with my purchase! Also, I live in a small space and don't have a lot of room for a lot of possessions, so I intend this to be my only hardcopy bible - and it's perfect!

This Bible is so beautiful 😍😍😍. I have been looking for a NRSV Catholic bible that also allows me to leave notes in it for some time. It's so simple and elegant. I'm gonna have so much fun studying with it!!!! Thank you Catholic Bible Press!
