No, you can't record separate messages. The message is the same on a and b. Other than that, this is a fantastic little device. It's way better than I imagined it to be. And the batteries last forever, even if you're playing it for hours and hours every day. I would definitely buy it again, if this one ever wears out.

Es ist eben ein Spielzeug.

Für den Preis kann man den mal ausprobieren. (Ich habe allerdings weit weniger bezahlt, als den jetzt bei Amazon angezeigten Preis) Ist mehr ein Gimmick. Die Aufnahmesequenz ist sehr kurz und der Ton ist nicht gut. Aber meine Papageien hören hin und sind für eine gewisse Zeit beschäftigt und das ist für mich die Hauptsache.
