Hello i’m a photographer looking into a color accurate 4k monitor. is the 95% dci-p3 good for photo editing? or should I look for another option?

In short, yes. Unless you want to hunt for a $1000+ display with 100% adobeRGB or spend around $6000 for a 98% P3 display, 95% P3 is about the widest color space you can find and is good for editing, especially if your photos will mostly be viewed online. But if you need to do a lot of printing then get an Adobe RGB monitor

The "B" at the end of the model number for the LG 27” IPS 4K UHD VESA HDR400 USB-C Monitor, Model # 27UN880-B indicates the case is black and the "N" in the model number identifies it as a 2020 model. The "880" series monitors (i.e 27UN880-B) come with an  Ergo stand versus the stand for Model # 27UP850-W which is an Arcline stand. The 27UN880-B is not a VESA Certified DisplayHDR™ and it has a brightness of 350 cd/m² and it supports HDR10. The 27UP850-W is a VESA Certified DisplayHDR™ 400 monitor, meaning the display is HDR compatible at 400 nits. I have a macbook pro 2020 and I connected the usb-c cable to the monitor and there is no picture on monitor.  Any suggestions?

Are you using the USB-C cable that came as an included accessory with the LG 27” IPS 4K UHD VESA HDR400 USB-C Monitor, Model # 27UP850-W? If your MacBook Pro 2020 is not detecting the monitor, try disconnecting the cable then reconnect it. This monitor has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a native refresh rate of 60Hz. Check to make sure that the settings for your graphics card are set to output the correct resolution and refresh rate for the monitor...^IFV

With a mac how do i sync the power so it shuts off with the computer? in earlier macos there was an option to have the display power off.
