Aussie Instant Freeze Hair with Jojoba Oil & Sea Kelp Gel, 7.0 oz

Let me just say that my hair was for most of my life out of control. My hair just never stayed in place. I bought ALL the sprays, gels and even mouse out there since I was a kid in school. Nothing ever worked until I got this Aussie Gel. This gives a sleek look without shinyness which I hate. It's not a wet finish look which I love. But, if I want a really matted down hair look I just use more. If I just want it to keep my hair in place I just use a dab and repeat. The only reason I bought this gel at first was to try it and then throw it into the pile of all my other unused hair products that usually don't work for me. However, the first amount I put in my hair which should NOT be too much (maybe a quarter of a teaspoon), I put it ON my hair. not THROUGH my hair. That is the key. Then I let it dry three minutes and put it again in the same area. It's magic. It holds my hair the entire day even in this hot weather. I do also use together with this gel the Nexus Finishing Hold Spray. By accident I used these two together by first putting the gel on and after it dries I spray the Nexus on my hair. I realized that each of these two products does a specific thing and when I just use one of the two my hair does not cooperate as well. So, I use both and I'm happy beyond words. The gel with regular five days a week use lasts me about two to three months for one tube. If you use it more cut in half how long it lasts.

This gel is invisible with no flaking.It holds waves and curls well but does very little for me when I blow dry my hair straight. It is still good for when I wear my naturally wavy hair tousled. It gives me a sort of beachy look but not not messy. I like that it isn't sticky and it doesn't flake. It also leaves hair soft, not crunchy. It washes right out with my usual shampoo. This is not for major spikes or crazy styles but for general hold and styling. Good price, Works well but on curly and wavy hair but not great on straight hair at least for me.

We use this gel along with the Aussie Instant Freeze Hairspray for our ballet recitals, and our hair stays in place the entire time. I love the scent of the products when applying them. After the shows, the products don't damage my daughter's hair and wash out easily with shampoo and water.

it did hold my hair pretty well, not amazing but not as bad as other brands i've tried. i need my hair in a bun for my profession and this did only that. 2 hours in and ive got some pieces falling out of shape and the FLAKING is horrible. It made it look like i have severe dandruff halfway thru my day.

I have very short hair (thanks to a covid haircut at home). I never needed gel before but now with short hair I have spots that like to stick up. I have tried other brands that have left my hair feeling sticky and hard. Plus they are always hard to get off of my handsNot true for Aussie instant freeze gel. I only have to use less than a teaspoon size and I have thick hair. It is absorbed quickly and does the trick. The gel is just the right thickness to allow it to spread easily while still holding my troubled hair in place. After my hair dries I am still able to run my fingers through my hair and my hair stays put all day. Plus a quick rinse of my hands in the sink and the gel is gone. I couldn’t ask for more.

I really like this gel it lasts for days it smells good and it doesn't leave a lot of residue on your hands or your hair it's light and it doesn't leave any crusty feeling on your hair or leave any residue so I am a satisfied customer with this product
