I've got some little ones that are just learning to play and hit a ball. We had been using a log to hit off of and they were interested enough that I thought I would grab one of these. This works great! It is super easy to put together and I love that it has stakes that are easily pushed into the ground. They hold for the most part unless you really work the pole. This is a simple adjustable tripod. Unfold the base and use the screw at the bottom to tighten it up. You then stick plastic cone on the top and the pole is telescoping so you can adjust it up or down for the batter. It's easily adjusted and the same as the base, you just screw it tight with a plastic, wing nut for lack of a better word. The three ground stakes are secure in the base of each of the tripod feet. You just simply pull to pop them out and then slide them through each of the feet into the ground. Make sure you line the long plastic line up with the base because they do have a correct way to go. I didn't pay attention to that at first and just tried to shove one in and couldn't figure out why I couldn't get it into the ground. They are small enough and sharp enough that they do easily go into the dirt. My girls have hit the actual pole, that because of the plastic cone on top does have some good flex to it. It seems to be holding up well so far. I like that it is simple to use and will accept most size balls. We use the softer osver sized softball with the big bats now. Overall, I think this is reasonably priced and of decent quality. I like it! I do wish it came with a travel bag of some sort so I could keep it in the back of my car to take it to the park.

Bought this as I thought it would be a good travel tee. The bounce back topper broke off within 5 swings. All it took was one mishit and the string holding it on ripped apart and now its useless.

I ordered this batting tee for my son, who is not quite 3 yet. I want to start teaching him baseball at a very young age so that he can have a chance to be really good by the time he is in high school. I already have a bat and ball that is appropriate for him to use, so I just needed the tee to help him when he is learning to hit the ball. For children under 10, this tee is perfect. For older children, you might want to invest in one that is more sturdy. This tee falls over easily unless you use the stakes that are included with it to anchor it into the ground. The top part where you place the ball is made out of rubber, so it can take a lot of abuse without breaking. Overall this is a nice product and the price is fair. It is perfect for my needs.

The Good: -Very lightweight and portable -Easy to use -Flex top -Easy to adjust The Bad: -Moves around if you don’t put stakes in The Bottom Line: I coach little league and while this batting tee is very lightweight and portable you have to use this on a grassy field. You can’t use this in the infield since you need to put the stakes down or else the tee keeps falling over. Overall, I would say for younger kids, get a regular batting tee that won’t fall over as easily.

Perfect for batting practice. My son is young so he tends to hit the tee and not the baseball at times which in return breaks the tee. This here will help prevent that. It’s made to flex and give to pressure. The part the ball sits on is long and made of heavy rubber so when hit with a bat it’s not going to break. I also like how this sits on a tripod. That helps and prevents it from falling over if the tee is hit. All in all this is a great practice tool that I would highly recommend to any player. So we have gone thru about 3 tees and this one looked promising. It broke the first time my 11 year old used it, just like all the other low priced tees have in the past. I was optimist because this one had a few extras that the others don't. The good thing about this tee is that it comes with little stakes that store at the end of each foot of the base that you can use to anchor down the tee. This part is great! It works great and it has it's own storage built into the legs. That was 5 stars on that part. Then you have the fact that it is easily transferable, in that it collapses to travel. You also have the top part that holds the ball that is rubber and it is attached to a string that allows it to move around and pop back into place. That's the part that broke right away. It somehow got stretched out or possibly broke inside the tee so how the top part just wiggles around instead of stays put. This would be great if it didn't break right away.

With the first hit the sting was stretched out and we were not able to repair it. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very adjustable. The lowest setting is the right size for our 3-year-old. Folds up very small. It can move around on you a bit if you are hitting the rubber tee more than the ball though. One leg of the tee should point in the direction of your swing to have more stability. The legs also should be fully extended for more stability.

I got this for my 9 year old son. It broke on his second swing. The “flex-top” lost the flex right away and the tee couldn’t hold a baseball without the flex-top toppling over. It was a piece of trash and was promptly returned. Not designed well at all. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

This seems great out of the box but the elastic broke the second time it was used. The first time the tee was hit hard by a six year old (not hitting the ball clean off the tee) it was done.

Bought one broke ,sending back .sent a 2nd one broke . Cheap, both broke in the 1st 10-20 swings .might be good for 8 yr olds .save your money

Clip broke that held it together the first time using it. Not very flexible.

After a few hits, the rope started ripping and barely holds the ball up
