I've tried many, many sports drinks, both those infused with protein and those without. I prefer the ones with protein in them because there is solid research your body does need the protein both during and after exercise to help stimulate recovery. However, some of these drinks are either formulated poorly for taste and/or cause stomach reactions during hard workouts. This product tastes OK (it's a bit more cranberryish than pomegranate) and is certainly good in this class, at least to me. YMMV. It's not going to be something you just drink for refreshment, but then, it's not supposed to be. The 16 oz bottles are a bit smaller than a bottle cage on a bike, which is unfortunate because other products do allow you to store a bottle in a cage which is convenient when you don't want to transfer the liquid into a different bottle for biking.My wife and I felt no adverse stomach reactions either from biking, swimming or running and the drinks do their job well. I'm still searching for the perfect protein endurance drink, but this is really pretty good. Improve the bottle size and make the flavor truer to expectation and it would be very close. I'd consider purchasing it again.This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

This product works great! I like that you can drink the same supplement before, during and after a workout. The flavor I chose was pomegranite. I would have given one more star if this tasted a little better. I would try this again in another flavor. I did purchase this product at a slightly reduced rate.
