A Must Have For Any Kitchen!!!
Review of the Nespresso Lattissima One Original Espresso Machine with Milk Frother by De'Longhi - Shadow BlackI recently had the pleasure of using the Nespresso Lattissima One Original Espresso Machine by De'Longhi in the sleek Shadow Black finish, and I must say, it has been a delightful addition to my kitchen. This machine is designed for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate the art of espresso and the luxury of perfectly frothed milk, and it certainly delivers on both fronts.Design and Build Quality: The Shadow Black color gives the machine a modern and sophisticated look, making it a stylish addition to any countertop. The compact design is a significant advantage, especially for those with limited kitchen space. The build quality feels robust, and the materials used are high-grade, ensuring durability. The intuitive layout of buttons is user-friendly, allowing even the most novice coffee maker to operate it with ease.Ease of Use: One of the standout features of the Lattissima One is its simplicity. With just a single touch, you can prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiato. The integrated milk frother is a game changer; it produces creamy, frothy milk in seconds. The machine also has a removable milk container, making it easy to store leftover milk in the refrigerator.Coffee Quality: When it comes to coffee quality, the Lattissima One does not disappoint. The espresso extracted is rich, flavorful, and aromatic, with a beautiful crema on top. The machine uses Nespresso's Original line of coffee capsules, which offers a wide range of flavors and intensities. I appreciate the consistent quality, ensuring every cup is as good as the last.Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning the Lattissima One is relatively straightforward. The milk frother and water tank are detachable, allowing for easy rinsing and maintenance. The automatic cleaning function for the milk frother is particularly convenient, ensuring hygiene without requiring much effort.Final Thoughts: Overall, the Nespresso Lattissima One Original Espresso Machine with Milk Frother by De'Longhi in Shadow Black is an excellent investment for anyone looking to enjoy café-quality coffee at home. Its combination of design, ease of use, and coffee quality makes it stand out in a crowded market. While the cost of Nespresso capsules can add up over time, the convenience and quality of the drinks produced make it well worth it for a daily indulgence. Highly recommended for coffee lovers who want a reliable and stylish machine!

Great product - terrible customer service
Ordered 2 machines and delivery was quick. Unboxed and tried per instructions for the “best froth” use skim milk. This worked a couple of times and the machine stopped frothing. Read, Researched and then called customer svce. Big mistake. She kept asking if we have an account. I advised we just received it. She said to set up account So we did. Waste of time and I spent the next 40 minutes w her trouble shooting only to have her tell me I’m using the wrong milk and I can only use whole milk? She said “our site states this”? Bye the way it doesn’t. I searched and also advised her page 17 specifically states “for the best froth use skim milk”. She said “well that’s wrong”? Anyway. This went on for 40 min until I hung up frustrated. After researching more my wife (yes she’s smarter than me) found more info on line about the same issue. The froth stops working if not using whole milk.Update - we did try the whole milk and it works.Love the machine. Great coffee but if you want to use anything other than whole milk it’s not for you. We tried 2% and skim as well. Only whole milk works.**don’t waste time w customer service unless your very patient and have a lot of time to waste talking..well listening to someone tell you in the end to just return it to Amazon your within 30 days….

Milk Function never worked!
Purchase this one to replace same model that we had for almost 5 years. This one came and the milk frothing function did not work at all. Went straight to error code for repair. Very disappointing in quality of the newer products. Going to try one more and then we will be done with DeLonghi and Nespresso.

BEST COFFEE MACHINE!
I drink a lot of coffee and used a lot of coffee machines, and this one is my favorite coffee machine because I can make my own cappunicons with the milk frother. The appearance is a clean sleek look, with a high reliability and brew speed. It has an easy portability and a value for your money.

I love coffee again!
I love this machine. I have been wanting a Nespresso for a while now but I tend to be cheap when it comes to “gifts” for me. Got a $250 gift card for something at work and I decided to be a little frivolous! Why did I wait so long? The machine is small which is a big plus. The espresso is the real deal. Like you get in places where it is their equivalent to our morning coffee. Love the frother. Does an amazing job. Honestly though the most important factor and what I would term the deal breaker was how easy it is to clean. It is quite easy! It comes apart into all of its constituent parts, rinse with cold water and lay it on a towel to dry. All ready for the next morning! Simple! I don’t have a bad word to say about it. It is pricey for a “coffee maker” but it’s much more than that and worth every penny!

Makes my favorite Nespresso original coffees perfectly.
I needed a replacement for my 10-year-old original Nespresso Machine by DeLonghi. This is the newest version of my old machine. It works great. I never used the frother in my old machine, and do not plan to use it in this new machine (from reading the reviews it sounds like this might an issue with the new machines). I always use a standalone Nespresso frother which works great.

Very disappointed for a new model
I’m a coffee lover but couldn’t say I’m a coffee expert. When it comes to caffeine, I am picky with my intake. I like to drink what works, what would keep me awake. I am one of those who follows the rule “no coffee after 12p”. With that said, I’ve always stick with espresso. A good espresso, I would only need 2 shots, maybe 3. On a day that I’m running low on sleep and can’t afford to nap, I would need 3-4 shots, sometimes 5. I decided to purchase this machine because my previous espresso pod machine from Starbucks had discontinued their pods to Nespresso. Before purchasing, I had seen that my sister had owned an older Nespresso model that uses the newer pods. I tried a coffee made by her machine and finalized my purchase for the Nespresso line over other pod machines. I would have to admit during my purchase, I was hesitant about the two different pod types because of the sizes. The newer pods look like 1 1/2 size bigger than the older pods. I finalized my decision on this model because I thought “new and improved,” right? Wrong. To get my coffee to taste like my sister’s older model Nespresso machine (1 newer pod), I have to use at least 3 1/2 of the older model pods. Both packs of pods sells in 10’s. My sister’s pack of pods last her 10 days. My pack of pods last me 2 days, maybe 3?? This machine is a lot more expensive than the older models that uses the newer pods. The water tank is about the same size from Nespresso to Nespresso. Compared to my previous discontinued espresso pod machine, it is tedious to refill my Nespresso machine. I think it’s because I have to use more pods to get the taste of one newer model Nespresso pod. And lastly, the frother. By far the worst frother ever. You are better off buying one detached. My overall opinion on this machine is that you are better off buying an actual espresso machine where you have to compress the ground beans into a little sized cup before making your one espresso shot. The work to make your coffee is too much for a pod machine. And by far the most expensive coffee you’ll ever make at home. I wish I knew the outcome expense before my return date. I would have returned it immediately.

Good Enough Taste, but Super Convenient
The first time I had coffee from a pod was Keurig about 10 years ago, and I hated the taste and texture of it. It made such a bad impression that I never tried Nespresso until recently. I was happy with all automatic machines like Saeco, Gaggia, and Jura at work. I actually was thinking about getting a mini Jura A1 until I had this tiny Nespresso machine in my room at my recent hotel stay. While the flavor and texture was not good as Gaggia or Jura, the tiny size and convenience were amazing. The texture was also very good for the size. The fact that you could change the flavor and variety just by changing the pod was just added bonus. That’s why I decided to get that machine for home, but they were out of ESSENZA MINI in white color, and Amazon had this new Lattissima model with frother, and having cappuccino occasionally sounded intriguing. Overall, it’s a good machine that does not take much of my counter space, and the white color makes it look clean and less intimidating. It’s a tad more expensive than I wanted to spend, but I don’t regret getting it. Thanks for reading and YMMV.
