Q: The usb-a ports don’t seem to work on mine. does it require a special connection? i don’t get any power or connection to usb-a devices i plug in to it

Both of the USB Down Stream ports on the LG 32UN880-B 32 Inch UltraFine™ Display Ergo 4K HDR10 Monitor, Model # 32UN880-B do not deliver power. The ports function as a USB hub and a keyboard, mouse, or USB device can be connected to the USB port, but to use the USB Downstream ports on the monitor, you must connect the Upstream port of monitor to a Host PC using a USB C-C or a USB C-A cable. The Upstream port is the USB-C port. When the USB C-C cable is connected between the Upstream port of the monitor and a Host PC, the Downstream ports of the monitor support USB 2.0 device and when the USB C-A cable is connected between the Upstream port of the monitor and Host PC, the Downstream ports of the monitor support USB 3.0 devices, but the Host PC must support USB 3.0 functionality...^IFV

Hi, the clamp goes in about 4.5 inches deep.

Superb Monitor. Awesome Display. Money Well Spent!!

This is my best purchase out of all the gadgets that I own. It feels wonderful to work on this monitor. Display couldn't be any better than this. 4K experience is pleasing to the eye. In-built speakers are also good. I am using it with Apple Mac Mini M2 (Pro) and the combo is great. My major reason for buying this monitor is that I wanted to read lots of Kindle books that I own. It feels really amazing to read books on this. Also, I do lots of R&D coding projects, so programming experience with this monitor is fantabulous!! Money well spent! I wish I had bought it way back...

Stunning Picture Quality

Unboxed and setup today. Met all my expectations in terms of picture quality. Colors pop and covers DCI-P3 95%. Just what I needed for graphics design work. HDR is there, but at 350 nits peak brightness, I doubt you’ll notice anything. USB-C powers the display and my MacBook Pro. Ergo stand is good, but my only gripe is it wobbles a little. Especially when typing on desk, which can be a bit annoying. Solution: Get a sturdier desk lol.Will update later on how it holds up. But for now, I love it. Thanks LG.

Excellent 👌

The first impression is very Awesome.since last few months i was struggling with screen blur and pixel scaling issue. i have research some scaling concepts. so i decided to take a 4k monitor so can scale down the resolution upto 1440p for sharp and clear visibility. I am Software Development field so i required sharp, clear and readable display.finally i have one. i am so happy to buy this. it will reduce my eyes strain and keep healthy for long lasting time.

Only for productivity, not a daily runner

Its a good monitor but only for productivity like programming IDE, video editor etc.Not good for daily task like surfing website as screen is big and efforts required to move cursor from one place to other(long distance).You can plugin any usb powered or mouse receiver directly to this monitor, but can't attach second monitor directly to this monitor(if you have multiple screen).Stand is good but not that flexible as compared to other stand available in market, as it has limited adjustment like height.
