Many knives with pocket clips are hard to get out of your pocket because they have the clips mounted to the handle with screws that have protruding heads that catch on the fabric of your pocket when you try to get it them out. This causes wear and fraying to the pockets over time. That is not a problem with this knife as the screws used to mount the clip are chamfer sunk flat heads. So it comes out of your pocket smooth. Another plus about this knife is that it is very durable. Also as a plus, it is sturdy and solid. There is no wobble between the handle and the blade. A good quality knife at a low price.

I ordered one because I'm tired of continually buying cheap but trashy knives. The first one had tiny discoloration on the handle, a tiny notch near the tip, and a tiny wiggle of the screws. I'm a knife perfectionist and I didn't like this. I ordered another, which was much, much sharper, and it had none of the problems the other one had, but the flip mechanism was not as smooth, the lock grated every time you closed it, and it had a strange front-back wiggle. After the wiggle resolved itself a tiny bit and some oil took care of the other two problems, but I'm still not COMPLETELY satisfied. However, for the money I suppose its good.

I picked this up to replace another knife I was carrying. I didn't like the sharp edges on the other one and really like how this one felt in the pocket. And how it sits deeper in the pocket. It is slightly larger and heavier than I would prefer. But otherwise I do like it a lot. My biggest issue is that it was not sharp at all when it arrived. The edge was rolled over, maybe a processing issue. After working on it for a while with a small Smiths pocket sharpener, I got a good edge on it. Seemed to take a while with the D2 steel, but hopefully that means it will stay sharp longer.

Overall - it's a good knife at it's price Handle - it's thick, and too heavy for an EDC (but it depends if you like it or not) - oily when unpacked, have to clean with alcohol - too sturdy, blade can hardly be flip opened, sometimes it's in half way and had to be pulled by hand until locked Liner Lock - firm, functioning well - position a bit confusing (as compared to my other liner lock knives) when unlock without looking Blade - sharp, not razor sharp but can perform duty as expected - tip also very sharp for pricking Package - I would not say it's bad, but you need another knife to unpack it
