£195 Bargain!
Had these on all day, I’m in love!Out of the box they don’t sound like much, but once you tweak the app to the way you like your sound then they’re on fire 🔥 you have a 5 band EQ for gaming and then a separate EQ for music, I mainly listen to metal and I use the energetic setting on it it’s immense, cause i hear every nuance and the soundstage is beautiful, would be slightly better if you could just get like 10% extra volume, some older tracks play really lowYou get a Dolby Atmos license with it that activates straight away on the Dolby Access app for Xbox but I much prefer the soundstage that comes from Dolby DTSX for headphones, just enable it in your Xbox audio settings after you’ve downloaded the DTSX app, if you’ve bought the license trust me it’s so much better after you’ve tweaked the EQ they way you want itI’ve not had any connection issues as yet with my series X or any crackles or pops etc, the mic is crystal clear too, I’m using a wired CAT8 connected series x with virgin giga 1 broadband. I have a house full of gadgets and iPads for the kids and multiple Xbox’s / TV’s connected to my Wi-Fi but still no interferenceBattery life is a bit on the crap side, was totally dead when I received it, fully charged it and got about 4hrs playing call of duty till it was time to die again but I think that’s cause i have them on full blast and crank the bass up a fair bit for them explosions 💥EDIT* I charged them overnight and now the battery lasts a good 12 hours gaming, I think I needed to give them a big charge as they were totally flat when I received themLast point, I picked them up for £195 and I’m amazed by them for that price, I’d have paid the full £450Hope this helps you guys decide as I was very skeptical too, but for £195 it was a no brainer

Amazing
Bought these headphones mainly for playingModern Warfare 2 on the Xbox. The sound quality (using the free Dolby Atmos licence included) is brilliant - I used the ready made FPS setting for online multiplayer and it really helped me in hearing approaching footsteps and the direction they were coming from. I’ve also listened to music and movies on them and again the sound is awesome. For music I reckon most people will want to mess with the EQ as the standard setting is quite light on the bass.I noticed some reviews said the mic is too quiet but I haven’t found this. In fact, my friends said I sounded louder and more clear than with my old headset. The build quality is top notch and they look super sleek. Despite being aimed at gaming, I’d happily wear these to the gym (if I’d gone for the other standard gaming headset I was going to get before I spotted this, I would have looked a t@*t in public in it). I got the navy version and they look great - the gold colour on the sides isn’t quite as bold as it looks in photos. It’s classy and understated. The leather ear cups are made from lamb skin and are really comfortable - they fit completely over my ears (although my ears are small!).Connections to the app, my Xbox and to my phone have all been seamless with no dropping out.I was tentative about ordering from this particular store after seeing their reviews (people saying high value items were missing and had been replaced with cheap items of a similar weigh, eg. shower gel) and so I ensured I ordered on my credit card for extra protection and I filmed myself opening the package just in case I needed to prove the contents to Amazon. Absolutely no issue though.I really rate this headset and can’t fault it at such a reduced price (£180). The only niggle I have is that it needs a case but with the saving I’ll happily buy one myself.

Some unique benefits, overall good but with issues
Great- Real leather earpads. I cannot describe how superior these are to the trash plastic "leather" on almost all other earphones. I would go so far as to say any of these portable headphones with plastic leather are unbuyable, including PX7, anything Anker or Bose or Sennheiser. I cannot stress how trash they are. They are colder when you put them on your head, they will be wet with perspiration when you take them off (unbreathable plastic) and they will fall apart in circa 2 years. Unacceptable on anything over £100.- Comfort. Apart from the above, the pads are soft and comfortable, the headband is comfortable and they aren't obnoxiously heavy. Could snag ears if you have big ears though due to the round shape.- User replaceable battery. Another thing that most other portable earphones are trash for. When you combine this with the plastic earpads most of the competition are literally disposable £300+ headphones. These ones can be replaced with just a few screws unlike many of the competition. It's not as simple as it should be of course, but at least it can be done.Decent- Sound quality. It's good, but it's not the original price (something like £350?) good. They sound worse than my Sennheiser HD599 which sit around £80-120, but they of course do have bluetooth, a battery, microphones and noise-cancelling tech. I can't sing their praise as if they're spectacular, but for the price I paid they're decent considering the features. The sub-bass is a bit subdued and the mid bass is pronounced. The detail is decent, I don't hear any sibilance and overall they are enjoyable to listen to.- Noise-cancelling and pass through. The PX7s I had before these were noticeably better at both of these. The noise-cancelling was astonishing and the pass-through was as if they were open-backed. These ones are just decent. The noise-cancelling works, but I can still hear my computer a little bit and the pass-through just doesn't seem quite as natural.- Battery life. More testing required but they don't seem to be getting anywhere near the stated life for me.Bad- Idiotic buttons and controls. The on/off/pair button, as a computing graduate who grew up with technology, is still a mystery to me. The touch pads to change the volume and noise-cancelling are an unbelievably bad choice. The PX7s it was simple - press button to cycle between noise-cancelling, pass-through or off. This thing you drag your finger to turn these features up and down and it bongs when you hit the limit. I'm not sure whether it is ever fully off (thereby saving battery), and of course it requires multiple swipes and half the time it doesn't register the swipe. As you can imagine, you also accidentally catch them while adjusting the headphones or taking them on and off. So you put it on and later realise you turned off the cancellation, or you adjust and suddenly FULL VOLUME. There's also some tapping you can do which I try to avoid because again it doesn't register half the time and I can't even remember what I have to do. When will manufacturers learn that touch buttons and gestures are inferior to actual buttons?

Great quality headphones for music
4 and a half stars!! I got these for the music not for XBox. So can't comment on that. My Sony XM3 headphones finally went to headphone heaven after 8 years so needed a replacement. These in my opinion are better than them but the noise cancelling isn't as good but still doesn't do a bad job. What I dont like , well the App does not have a proper equalizer as such but a little wheel you have to move about. You can not go to the next track on the headphones so need to do this on the player 👎 Otherwise these are really an awesome pair of headphones better sound quality than the xm5 or 3 !! Using codec Aptx HD adaptive. Not as comfortable as reviewers are saying but I'm getting used to them!! Great purchase !! Look for a good deal ! 👍

Cannot get it to work on PC despite the description saying does.
I saw that this was quite a good deal and decided to buy them because the description seems to say that you can connect them to a PC.I've been able to connect them to my PC and my phone via the 3mm jack and they sound fine (default as speakers on windows) but as soon as I connect the USB-C to the PC the headphones produce a static sound and the mic does not work despite a few hours messing with default mic settings etc.I was under the impression they can be used on PC with a USB-C cable and 3mm jack and you need a wireless xbox dongle if you wanted to use them wirelessly.I'm a little bit annoyed because at £500 before the sale I'd expect them to sound a little better than my current Sennheiser H6pros I use

Great sound, terrible connectivity to PC, questionable build quality.
Sound quality for gaming, combined with the bundled Dolby software is amazing - prior to this I had the Hyper X Clouds and there's no comparison in terms of the sound quality. However BT pairing to PC is so painful as to make it useless, so you're always corded so this knocks off a star. Also after 15 months the left side now has a lose connection, out of warranty I'm left with a useless headset, for something that was originally retailing at over £400 and a brand like B&O you'd really expect better. I won't be buying this again to replace it, and I think that says it all.

Absolutely the best for clarity, rich bass and mid tones, and a real quality feel
I've been a Razer fan for a number of years, but as of late I found their latest offerings just too plastic and not providing the depth that one would need in next gen gaming.I'm a B&O fan outside of gaming, but when I saw the opportunity of buying a certified gaming headset with the logo I couldn't resist. First off, I had no intention of using the headset on my Xbox, I'm mainly a PC gamer and wanted to use this on Steam games such as PUBG, COD, Forza etc. I bought the Xbox Windows dongle to pair with the headset and it takes a matter of 2 seconds to connect and unlock the features. You'll open access to the Dolby app which really does make this headset come to life with various EQ settings and realism. I find a V curve covers most genre's of games - there are various presets such as Game/Music/Voice etc but they're a little flat. The headset has the ability to replicate other player's sounds especially in buildings where you want to hide and capture your opponent, vs the other brands of Headsets that I tried (Corsair, Razer, HyperX, Sennheiser etc) I just found the sounds in buildings rather out of touch with reality vs the B&O.For the money, I will honestly bet any buyers that you can't find such a decent headset for the money - remember B&O are audio experts, not jack of all trades focussing on swamping the market with plastic devices. This is a premium headset that you can also use on your commute for a stunning bouquet of sounds and bass. The mobile app is an absolute gem to use, and caters for all audiophiles requirements.Battery life I would say needs a slight improvement, I find it uses 25% per hour so around 4 or so good hours usage on any games using HD audio.Overall, I'm one happy chappy, no more low end devices are coupled with my PC!

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal Xbox
I've been a big fan of good quality headphones for most of my life to the point my wife says I've got an addiction. I had been looking into getting a pair that were Dolby Atmos compatible as there is a good selection of Atmos audio on Tidal now. These sound pretty good, great detail, clear sound and although not mega loud they are loud enough and also comfy enough for listening for long periods.I read other users comments regarding ANC and volume being too low but I think they are fine. I have a 7.1 home cinema setup in my living area and my wife was watching a movie and I could not hear any of it. Even without any sound the headphones fit well that it keeps external sound down.Usually for listening to music I use my AKG K702 on an iFi Zen DAC (sometimes Sennheiser HD650) and even though my Beoplay Portal hasn't burned in properly yet there are details on some of my favourite tracks that I haven't noticed before (non Atmos tracks) and i can see these being my new favourites.I would have preffered the Navy ones but it was going to take another week, ordered the grey (which were even cheaper) and they actually look really good (better than the image). The seller for these are Only Branded and mine came brand new and sealed. If your looking for a wired / Bluetooth / Xbox Wireless headphone for music or gaming I would say look no further, it's a good buy especially at this price

Buy sony instead this is a terrible product.
Poor quality didn't last for 2 years. Now there is a problem with left speaker starts when you receive a call or start listening to any type of music...the noise cancelling making sound like wind which is very annoying and make the sound very odd... I've tried to delete the app and nothing happens also tried to turn off the features but the problem still exist....not recommended at all...stay with SONY brands.

Great but...
The number of stars is based on the application and its relationship with the headphones. It creates a mess with the options and not identifying them. The sound is amazing and the comfort even better.

Meravigliose
