Mine is sized for 12"x16" sponge and paper. There is also a smaller version which I'm not clear on the size. I believe the smaller one is a different color than red.

Product title says “film refill for 100” but the package says 30?

Mine was 30. But, there r t very best. If I have a Materson sponge & palette box, acrylics can stay wet 4 months! Nothing else compares with it or is even close.

Can you use other paper palettes instead of the masterson sta-wet palette - strathmore, master's touch?

I don't know of any other paper that can be submerged in water to prep it, then lay it on top of a wet sponge. Paint (acrylic - water based) is put on top of the wet paper to keep the paint from drying out.
