If you just want it to mount on a tripod or something, this is fine. The buttons are all easily accessible and the micro SD card can be inserted and removed with this casing on.What I can't do, however, is get any micro HDMI or mini USB cables fully inserted with this case in. Yes, the ports themselves are technically open, but the opening doesn't accommodate for the plastic casing that's around virtually every single USB cable I've ever used. I'm going to have to go to the hardware store and see if I can invest in a tool to modify it, as I really need to use this camera today.So if you're buying it with keeping it constantly charged in mind, or connecting it to a device via HDMI, factor the cost of some kind of file or knife to modify it.

I purchased this item for an Akaso EK7000 action camera but it does not fit. The action camera has a waterproof case with a mount on the bottom but the audio is lousy with the case on. I wanted an open frame mount so that the audio would be clear and this would have been perfect if it fit. The Akaso is too deep to fit into this particular frame.Since there are no returns on this item I will have to give it away and try again.

I got them for my HERO 4 cameras so I can put on a mount. Each case slipped on well, but the openings for buttons and ports needed to be fixed. I couldn't plug in power, nor HDMI for streaming until I filed the sides down. One case I had to file the power button down, because it continually depressed the button, turning it on and off.These are simple mods, but I shouldn't have to make them.

This frame mount fits my Hero 3 camera perfectly. It's a great deal especially with the lens protector.

Pretty useful to have especially if you're doing long time-lapse video, which is why I purchased this frame so I can charge my gopro with a portable charger while shooting a time-lapse. All the other accessories that came with the frame fit find no issue at all. Good purchase for the price.

Best frame for tripod mount to capture lectures, which is what I do.

Looks good but doesn't fit well. The top button in the GoPro camera is being pressed down constantly by the frame. Had to do a little modification and trim the hole of the frame to be bigger so the top button doesn't get pressed on constantly by the frame.
