Cute gift for my 7th grader and her 4 best friends. A positive thing about the no cell phone law in schools (Texas) is that these kids have to pass notes 80's style again. Yay for hand writing practice! This way they can write their secret messages and not have them read out loud in front of the class without the super secret spy pen (cuz maybe Ian really is soooo cute but you don't want him to know you like him). Ink dries quickly, light works great and has a plastic damn in place to preserve the life until youre ready to use.

Oh goodness, we put these in the cousins Christmas gift baskets and the kids had a blast. We added some small note pads from the dollar store. This kept them busy making memories all afternoon.

I thought these were different colors of invisible ink which is why I purchased them. No. They are all the same color ink in different color packages. They work as invisible ink. But if you are looking for purple or yellow or green this is not it. They all look the same and just the light blue-ish color. The description mentions that it is colorful. Sure the pen casing is colorful. But no color difference in the ink itself.

I bought to replace a blue light tool for a book my daughters enjoy. They like using this- 5 year old is better able to use than the 2 year old and hands do tire quickly with pressing the button. The fun keeps them going though! I do recommend.
