Awesome. I bought 6 of these and measured noise figures between 0.30 and 0.95, meeting the advertised claim of less than 1 dB. Even though full weatherproofing needs to be added for outdoor use, the LNA-100 outperformed an LNA-200 significantly for very weak UHF signals. The LNA-100 was entirely stable when used on a high-Q feed-point antenna with downstream channel cancelling filters, unlike a popular competitive product that advertises a 0.4 typical noise figure.

Boosted Signal, Works Well (with objective measurements included)
An amplifier can't pull in more channels than your location and antenna are incapable of providing. So I personally don't like purely subjective reviews that claim "no improvement" in reception and immediately conclude the amplifier must be defective. With that in mind, my review adds before/after objective strength/quality measurements from the HDHomeRun software. I'm using a Channel Master CM-4228HD VHF/UHF antenna and SiliconDust HDHomeRun Connect tuner. Stations are between 30 and 60 miles away from me. Measured during the day and night, and under clear skies. No splitter. Before: 10 strong channels (> 90% strength, 100% symbol quality) 6 weak channels (anything less, occasional glitches) 2 unreceivable (nothing) After: 3 went from weak to strong 1 went from unreceivable to strong 1 went from unreceivable to weak 3 remained weak (better strength, but no effective change) Signal strength increased significantly on all channels (all 90%+), the most dramatic being Univision from 16% to 100% - essentially unwatchable to completely usable. So it definitely does work, but that strength did not necessarily translate to making them watchable, since 3 remained weak regardless. A corresponding increase in "symbol quality" is also needed. The use-case per the manufacturer is partly to increase the strength of borderline signals, but more so to amplify the signal at the antenna to overcome the signal loss through your cable runs and any subsequent passive splitter. I think it does this job well. It will not magically solve all of your reception problems, and it will unavoidably introduce some noise into the line (1 db typical, but may vary depending on frequency), but I think it is a good choice for those in a similar mid-range distance. Any further out and you'll want to a high-gain amplifier like the Channel Master CM-7777 . Any stations closer than ~10 miles and the amplifier may make the channels too strong. As for the device itself: it is for indoor use, made of plastic, has a mini-usb plug on one side, and installs inline between your antenna and TV/tuner. For outdoor use, you'll want the Winegard LNA-200 Boost XT or Channel Master CM-7778 . Note that, at least according to their own specs, these others introduce more noise into the signal (up to 3 db).

Don`t buy. Worst device. I lost signal instead of gain. Buy Channel Master amplifier instead, it is way better.

Solved weak TV signal problems
I used this with a small outdoor broadcast TV antenna that I have mounted inside the attic of my house. I use over-the-air broadcast digital HDTV rather than spending money on cable. However, a new large house is under construction next to mine, blocking the direction towards the broadcast antennas that are about 30 miles away. Also, I have a 100 foot cable run from the antenna down to my entertainment center in the family room. So, what had been dicey reception became downright unreliable. I inserted the Winegard LNA-100 TV Antenna Amplifier between the antenna and the cable in the attic to boost the signal. This is not exactly the way that this product is designed to be used - it is designed to be inserted at the TV end of the cable run. However, as any radio engineer knows, it is much better to insert the amplifier at the antenna end because you want to boost the signal before it is attenuated by the cable. The most important factor in this situation, even more important than signal level, is signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). If the amplifier is inserted at the TV end of the cable run, the SNR is not improved because both he signal and the noise are amplified together. However, when the amplifier is inserted at the antenna end of the cable, the signal is boosted above the noise that enters over the cable run, thus significantly improving the SNR. I chose this product (even though it isn't exactly designed for this type of installation) because of its claimed super-low noise specs and because I have been pleased with Winegard products for about 50 years now. I don't have the instrumentation to measure or verify the specs, but the results are fantastic! The reception is now solid as a rock, and my video system receives all kinds of minor TV channels that I didn't even know existed. Please note that this product is for indoor use only. Also, I had to install a power outlet in the attic to power this amplifier. Finally, the connectors are the wrong gender on both sides for mounting it at the antenna end. You will need f-f and m-m F-connector adapters to install it at the antenna end of a cable run. Also, if you do have a long cable run like mine, be sure to use high quality RG-6 cable. If you have cheap RG-59 cable, upgrading the cable alone may improve your reception.
