Tolerated by my kitty's sensitive tummy
My 8 y.o. cat had begun losing tolerance for dry cat food which I left out all the time as a supplement to his twice-daily feedings of wet food. I also relied on dry food to keep him fed when I travel. Unfortunately, he began vomiting a lot and I took him to the vet only to discover that likely it was the dry food he'd generally tolerated well. $250, x-rays, and a very unhappy cat later the vet recommended that I begin reintroducing the dry food in small amounts, gradually increasing.Even the smallest amount of dry food would cause the same result - puke on the floor for me to have to clean up, even after several weeks. It was the same food he'd always eaten, so I doubted that was the issue. Now that his tummy is fully back in order, eating only wet foods, I have started to introduce this moist cat food. So far, three small portions later, no vomiting. Both my problem-tummy cat, and his sister, have eaten small portions of this food with no regurgitation so far. I would say they're not getting super excited about it like they do their wet food, but it's a good back-up plan. The other negative is that it's very pricey, so I'll likely use it for those days I know I'm going to be out all day, or when I travel and have someone checking on my cats every other day. But I'm glad I found it.

Moist high quality food that old kitties love
20 yr old cat that struggles to keep on weight and is very picky + 12 yr old cat with cancer who has trouble eating both agree this food is tops. Not as messy and wasteful as canned food. The quality is really up there with some of the best brands, read the ingredients. It is expensive but if you feed meals and not free choice it is really not bad at all. I really wanted something like Tender Vittles that cats really went nuts for and this fit the bill. No fishy juice on my fingers in the morning, no stinky cans to wash for recycle. And they think it is a bowl of treats the way they gobble it down. All around a good purchase for old and infirm kitties. I don't know if I would use it for a young cat, just thinking of teeth issues.

Dodged a bullet
Since Amazon does not provide ingredients for this and many other pet foods, I reviewed the product's ingredients at a reputable online pet food vendor's website before placing my Amazon order, and was impressed. So I proceeded, and my order just arrived. The Amazon shipping box for this item had been ripped open in two places before it reached me, and the box was heavily re-used and filthy, but the bag of food that slid out of the box was intact, so I opened it, hoping to offer a sample to my cat. The product emitted a really foul stench, and stunned by this, I thought to verify the product's ingredients. Sure enough, the ingredients listed on this bag were significantly different from what I was expecting, based on the ingredient list I'd located at another site, and even had the odor of this product not been so awful, I could not possibly feed this to a cat. The bag I received is due to expire in just a few months, and so perhaps it reflects an old recipe that I hope is not still on the market, but in any case, the product in my bag contains mineral oil, which can interfere with nutrient absorption and/or cause diarrhea. So this item is now in my garbage pail...I recommend pinning down both expiration date and ingredients before you place your order for this product.

Finally a moist food!
I have an almost 19 yr. old tabby that has decided his dry kibble just ain't cutting it. I can see that he has really limited his daily food intake. He has always hated canned food and still won't eat it. I was finding the only thing he enjoyed were moist treats, and I knew he couldn't survive on those. So the search was on for a moist food. I didn't realize that the major brands were no longer making it. I was really happy to find Waggers, not only because it's the consistancy he likes, but also because it appears to be a high quality food as well. He is in heaven! The only difficult thing is going to be the transition to the new food to make sure he doesn't have any tummy issues (because as we all know, you can't just immediately switch over to any food). Thank you, Waggers!

Great alternative
My cats like this food as a once a week alternative to their regular dry food. Don't seem to want it as a daily meal. Guess they are older and set in their ways.
