To my relief, I experienced absolutely no allergic reactions. No itching, no hives, no digestive discomfort—nothing. It was very well tolerated, and that alone was a big win for me. But beyond that, I started to notice gradual improvements that made a real difference. Pain relief and mobility: Within about 2–3 weeks of consistent use, I noticed that my joint stiffness—especially in the mornings or after long periods of rest—had significantly decreased. The dull aches in my hips and knees became less noticeable, and activities like walking, standing up from a seated position, and even light stretching felt smoother and more comfortable. The daily dose of 5 capsules which is a lot. This has hyaluronic acid as a bonus. I'm hoping I can avoid having another knee injection. My last hyaluronic injection was over a year ago and I stubbed my toe recently which hurt my knee. I started taking these and my knee is pain free - for now.

A few years ago I started having multiple aches and pains in my feet that grew worse when I resumed running/walking every day. (I'm a 53yo woman.) I've had great success with glucosamine products with my aging pets, and as the months dragged by with no improvement in my feet I decided to give Doctor's Best a trial run. 24 hours after the first dose, I noticed a difference, but that wasn't necessarily the supplement, since the pain does vary from day to day. Now, ten days in, I can definitely say the supplement is helping. I still have some pain in the joint at the outside edge of my right foot, but it's MUCH better than it used to be, and the myriad pains in both feet are mostly gone. I'm looking forward to seeing how things feel after a month! BTW, others have noted the size of the capsules. I find that the size tracks with that of other, similar nutraceuticals; these are coarser products -- essentially, food extracts -- than most pharmaceuticals. It takes a relatively large amount to get the job done. I actually have no problem downing multiple capsules at once, and I'm not a large person. I'd be willing to take each capsule individually, though, given the improvement I'm experiencing.

I’m very happy with this product. I started noticing improvement after about two weeks. I also used it together with my physical therapy exercises and regular workouts.

I have had disc slipping problems my entire life due to spondylolisthesis - my lumbar discs would constantly slip. I remember in the 90s when the late 90s a chiropractor tried to push glucosamine chrondoitin on me. I tried the samples for a few months but they had no noticeable effect. I had back fusion in 2000 and the problem was cured. As I got older, the discs next to the ones I fused would slip from time to time. Over the past few years, that became more constant. I actually tried this product for the collagen that was in it, but I've noticed my disc doesn't slip any more when taking these. I stopped taking them for a short while and my back acted up again. I've been taking them for almost a year now and my back hasn't slipped once. I'm 100% sold on this as a viable medical solution.

Product itself is quality & matches the description. However, I just disposed of my remaining supply due to study published in Nature Metabolism (June 2026) linking oral glucosamine to increased risk of dementia progression & brain protein hyperglycosylation.

Has made a HUGE difference to my knee pain. Works best when there is grinding or clicking in the joint. It's as though the joint has been lubricated. I felt a marked difference within one week of taking the product as directed on the bottle.
