Oh, Mama, this is die for!
These are soft, perfect for sandwiches that need a little extra zip. I make huge batches of spaghetti sauce and freeze it to use over several months. Included: lots of onions and fresh garlic, fire roasted tomatoes, Italian sausage, low-fat ground beef, regular and basil flavored tomato sauces, lots of a good Burgundy or Cabernet, now I also use a can of these Pronto Freco semi-dried Tomatoes drained, lightly rinsed and diced! It's amazing how much it adds to the rich flavor without adding extra salt!

leftover rejects from the canning facility?!
i was looking for soft flavorful roasted tomatoes to use on a salad/appetizer i was recreating from a restaurant. these were mostly the stem portion of the tomato and skins! they were tough and while I did end up trimming every single piece, i am only probably going to be able to purée them and add them to a sauce sometime. not buying again. the flavor of the oil they’re in was flavored nicely, so this was very disappointing.

Best tomatoes on the market
The flavor is great. I put them in anything with a tomatoes base. Disappointed that they were taken off the ebt list. Limited income will now be unable to purchase
