Marvel Legends Series Doctor Strange Premium Role Play Eye of Agamotto Electronic Talisman Adult Fan --Costume and Collectible, Ages 14 and Up

I purchased this for my son for Christmas. I have taken it out to make sure it works and I have to say, it is pretty awesome. This is the second item from the legends line that we have purchased. The gem reacts when it is put into the center, by flashing. You manually make the “eye” open and close. It has a necklace to wear and a stand to display. It looks like you took it straight from the Dr Strange movie. I would say that this is not an item for a little child since I’m not sure about it’s durability. But, adults would absolutely love this as well since it is truly a replica worth having.

This is really cool, especially the Eye that lights up and pops out. The instructions on how to make it work are really unclear, though. They tried to write them like Ikea instructions with no words but... wow. I didn't get it for a while, almost returned it thinking it wasn't working. You put the Eye into the amulet and then you have to manually turn the "cage" part on the front. If you haven't used the thing before, leave it for a few minutes to let the little battery in the Eye charge. Now push the button on the top - the cage part will turn and reveal the Eye which lights up. The button on the back will pop out the Eye, which should stay lit. Once you figure it out, it's super sweet. I dressed up as Dr. Strange for Halloween a couple years ago and really wish I'd had this.

Great accessory for my Halloween costume. I received multiple compliments especially when I activated the eye. If you're a Dr. Strange fan, then this is a must buy!

I love Dr. strange and this is the perfect replica that is fully functional

After much waiting this finally arrived and I couldn't be happier. Hasbro has really done an excellent job with this item. The stand is easy to assemble. The amulet itself requires installation of two AAA batteries (not included), and the installation of the Time Stone (which is wrapped separately so be careful I nearly missed this in the packaging). The stone fits into the center of the amulet tightly, so take care when inserting. There is a button on the top that opens the amulet's eye and activates the Time Stone. This is a spring loaded mechanism that must be manually reset by turning the front of the amulet clockwise to close. It clicks when it has locked and the button will reset. There is an audible sound when it opens which breaks the illusion slightly, seems like Hasbro could have found a quieter mechanism to accomplish this (and now you know one reason why it's four stars not five). The cord that holds the amulet is well made and should hold up to wearing for cosplay. There is a snap in connector that should make it easier to fasten if needed. There is a small button on the back of the amulet that when pressed will release the Time Stone and the stone will continue to glow on it's own apart from the amulet for about five minutes or so. This is super cool but I worry it's easy to lose, and there's not a clear way to replace it if lost. Apart from that the packaging leaves the most to be desired. A simple carboard box with the bare minimum packaging within. I would have liked the amulet to come in a box more fitting the contents maybe made from plastic and styled accordingly. The addition of documents about the item and additional lore would have been very neat as well. It would have been a short distance to go but would have added so much to the items impact to come contained in something "in universe". Overall I am very happy and recommended this item 100%. I can't help staring at it on my bookshelf and opening it as I walk by. It triggers the imagination.

I really like Doctor Strange and this item is ideal for my collection. You can have it displayed with its own base and make it part of your decor, or you can use it as an add-on to your costume. The automatic mechanism which reveals the time stone and the light emitted by it are very good and astonish whoever is observing it. I was kinda expecting a little more about the base and clasp as they look plastic-like and a bit flimsy, but I've had no issues so far.

I gave this to my 2nd grandson - his only request. I could have gone cheaper, but I am glad I didn't. I gave it on August 2, and at this past Christmas family gathering (yes, a late Christmas gathering), he was still enjoying the heck out of whatever it is! He's happy - even said, "Nano, I'm so glad you didn't get me a junky one - this is exactly what I wanted!" Don't get me wrong - this thing is totally plastic! But it still works, months later, and it pretty much looks the same as when it came out of the box.

This product, the Eye of Agamotto, was exactly what i was looking for. except for after the first day, after minimal use the strings on the necklace part started to undo, it's perfect. that and its really noisy when opening. but the light is super bright and amazing and whole necklace and eye piece look amazing. if you have some spare change and are interested in it, I highly suggest you get this worthy of 5 stars.

Amazing design and the way it opens is probably the coolest part of this, and that the stone can be removed but still stays on. I inserted the batteries on Christmas Day , and have not had to replace them, and it has been constantly on in the display cabinet. The pricing for this product is right, definitely recommend
