Do NOT open in the house
These are tiny little styrofoam balls. Once you open the bag and start stuffing whatever you are stuffing, the balls go EVERYWHERE. Made the mistake of doing my stuffing project at the kitchen table. The balls static cringed to me, the chair, the table, the floor, and spread from here to there. What a mess. Fortunately, they do vacuum up.

Great for stuffing animals
The media could not be loaded. Wife uses to fill stuffed animals that she sews. Works great, shipped VERY quickly. They shipped in a box this time, last time was an envelope, box was an improvement. Update: I have had some questions about the size of the beads. I can't figure out how to put pictures into my review so I dropped the pictures into a short movie. The movie shows the stuffed animals, the front of the package, the beads in the package (just a few of them) with a penny as a size reference, and a funnel I rolled and taped using heavy weight paper. We always fill her animals outside because these beads are very light and create a lot of static electricity when you pour them and so you will lose some and make a mess if you are inside. We found using the paper funnel allowed us to pour the beads faster and generated less static so less mess. Pouring the beads into the animal is a two person job. We looked for these locally at Michael's and Jo-Anne's but they did not have them, one of them had the Weighted Stuffing Beads but by the time you filled one of these dogs with them a child probably couldn't lift it (yes, we tried and realized it was the wrong product, it would be fine for little animals). My wife made two dogs that we filled yesterday, each one takes 1/2 bag, and I will be ordering another bag in my next Amazon order.

Does the job!
These beads worked as I had planned. I was filling a laptop cushion that had gotten thin. I only gave four stars due to their size. I knew they were small from other reviews but don't see the need of making them this small so I only "liked them" not "loved them".Static is a huge factor in working with beads like this. I used a trick us women know which is hair spray on nylons will keep your dress from sticking to your legs. I sprayed a piece of paper with hairspray then rolled it into a funnel. It worked like a charm!! Of course this only applies to the beads that make it in the funnel. LOL I put my project into a box so all those beads that didn't make it into the funnel fell into one place so less waste. The beads are doing a great job in my project. The laptop cushion is a fabric base filled with the beads so it forms to my legs. I did follow the tip in the reviews of sewing the seam tight. Good tip! These beads would have definitely fallen through the seam that was already on the cushion.

LET IT SNOW!
The beads are smaller than I thought, which turned out to be exactly what I needed - they look more like snow than the ones that came with my 'snow display' of snowmen in a park of trees and a street lamp. The ones that came with the display looked more like it was sleeting than snowing, but this teeny tiny balls look much more realistic. I love them. They are actually smaller than the mark left behind by a fine tip "Sharpie". In fact, they are much smaller than the mark it just made on a piece of paper. I think they are rather expensive, but I'm not a crafter, so I really have no idea how much this stuff costs, so this could be the normal price of this type of product. I used about half a bag in an area about the size of an upside down small umbrella filled about half full. (Part of the display IS an upside umbrella) Great product to use for snow!

these would be perfect. One bag will fill 1/2 a cubic foot
Itsy bitsy teeny tiny beads. I don't disagree with a lot of the reviews, I wish they were a little larger too...but they served their purpose and they were really the only micro beads I could find. Each of the little balls vary in size; I'd say for the most part they're around the size of an earring post. A pencil tip would be about twice the size. They worked somewhat effectively in making floam (again wish they were a little bigger), but for someone creating dolls or pillows, these would be perfect. One bag will fill 1/2 a cubic foot.

Great choice for rear bag filling for precision target shooting.
Great product that suited my needs perfectly. There are a lot of different fillings out there, so this one may or may not suit your needs.I was looking to fill a cylinder shaped cordura nylon bag (about 8" long and 4" in diameter) for the purpose of steadying the rear end of a rifle stock, for high precision long range target shooting. These beads weigh just slightly more than nothing, keeping the overall weight of my "rear bag" very light. They don't have a lot of spring to them, so the rifle just kinda smooshes into the the bag and you don't need to fight to keep the right height setting.

Great filler for tennis rackets!
Got this to use as a filler for tennis rackets - works perfect and is 100% reversible. Open up the butt-cap and just funnel these tiny foam beads into the empty handle chamber, pack them in and close the chamber off with something like a piece of foam or putty. My XT Prestige Pro filled up with 10grams of this stuff and made the racket feel much more solid, no more hollow sensation on impacts. Change your mind? No problem, just suck it back out with a vacuum, a luxury most other fillers don't give you.

Finally what I was looking for!
After doing extensive searches for this product I found it! It was received within a week and was exactly what I was looking for. Be very careful with this product as there is a lot of static and very hard to clean up if you are not super, super careful. This is no fault of the supplier and is probably the reason I had a very hard time finding it anywhere. It is the same material used for the cushie pillows that you can no longer find except online. I ordered this to make a huge pillow for my dog who absolutely loves it. Will definitely order again!
