Nannochloropsis sp. A golden-brown marine alga that is nonmotile and commonly used as a marine food organism because it can accumulate high levels of lipids. Each algae culture contains enough material for a class of 30 students. This culture requires a high light level of 200 to 400 foot-candles of fluorescent light 18 to 24 from the culture. Specimens alive and working well!
Appropriate saltwater algae strain for live micro algae cultivation. I used it to culture micro algae to feed my brine shrimp and also inoculated their tanks with it as well.
