From what i see the brand that you mentioned has the cheapest type of backing (Hot melt adhesive) with the worst anti-slip effect from our point of view. FluffyGrip uses TPE rubber backing technology which become slippery only on wet or greasy surfaces. Please feel free to try our product and if you are not happy with it we will gladly give you a refund.

Quality seems ok, but the underneath material is lightweight and probably will not last long. Quality of edges look frail, not good cutting
