This Oval Makeup Brush Kit has a great variety of oval brushes. Some are smaller, and some are more slender. Personally, I have found that I enjoy using these brushes on the creamy makeup applications a lot more than the powder kind. The cream seems to brush into my face a lot easier.Here is what I like about this Oval Brush Kit:* The brush bristles are compact. This allows for just a little of make up to be trapped in the brush. Most of the make up goes on your face.* The brushes are comfortable to hold. I like the length and thickness of the handles.* The brush heads allow for you to control where the foundation is applied on your face. I like that the foundation does not go into my eyebrow area!* This 10 piece set is a great gift- for any woman.There are no instructions on how to use these brushes. I would suggest reading tutorials, or watching videos.I first started, by putting my foundation on my face and kind of distributing it evenly on my skin. Then, I used the brushes to swipe in into my skin. Depending on where I was swiping, depended on what size brush I used. For the foundation, I only used one size.I was provided this product, at no cost, in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Like you, I am an amazon shopper and I rely on product reviews when making my purchases. I would never award 5 stars to an inferior product. I hope you found my review helpful.

I really like that this set came with a nice box for storage, and the Box has recessed slots to hold each brush. The brushes are very soft to the face and they have a little bit of give, but they are strong enough to apply your makeup and blend it well. The heads all have slight variations for each makeup need to apply your makeup and blend it well. The 10 brushes all have slight variations so I wrote some of them are close in size, each has it on purpose. The brushes are flat enough to provide a look at isn't streaky, which I love. The brushes I found a apply the product in a way that required less makeup than normal. There was a brush for everything including my eyeshadow, blush and foundation. Some of them can even be used for brows. The handles were great because they feel good in your hand and are soft enough where your hand doesn't get tired from holding them. They are a great shape to hold in the hand to avoid fatigue, which was well thought out and well designed. The LittleBlack cosmetic Makeup brushes come in a set of 10 brushes. It gives you a wide variety of sizes for all your makeup needs. All rounded and unlike other makeup brushes I have used before. They do not come with directions of what each brush is for. Obviously for someone that applies makeup frequently you will know what each is for, but for someone that does not use makeup as often, you may be a little overwhelmed which brush is for which and how to use these. The biggest brush is foundation, 2nd biggest I would use for contouring and/or blush, 3rd concealer, 4th highlighting. And all the little ones are what I would use for eye makeup.DirectionsHow to Use Oval Toothbrush Makeup Brush:1.Pick up Your Choice of Product with the Brush, Start Applying the Makeup from the Center of Your Face.2.Using a "Push and Pull" Motion, Glide the Brush Across the Surface of the Skin to Blend.3.Finish off Blending with Light, Circular Motions.I have attached a video as well to help show what each is for and even how to use these. NOTE: In my video, it may look like I am pushing with these brushes, but I was barely brushing it across my face, it glides nicely with ease and no need to add pressure. I was very surprised that when used, they did not leave any bristles at all on my face, unlike the set I already have. My one big complaint with my other set, is how I will have a random bristle every now and then left on my face, tickling my face. I really love how soft these are! The handles on these are different from other brushes I have used in the past. They have a nice soft grip to them and the handle is smooth and flat to allow for better grip and control of the brush. Oval Makeup Brushes' unique design requires the use of less product than normal makeup brushes. A little goes a long way! Goodness did I want to love these brushes. So soft and densely packed. The bristles are absolutely heavenly. I love the feeling of these on my face and they blended my makeup so nicely. It gives you this airbrushed look and makes it look just like your skin. I paid more for these for a higher quality item and I was fairly satisfied with them initially.The bristles are pretty much where they end. The handles are cheaply made plastc that bends, flexes, and CREAK when gentle pressure is applied. I have a video of the largest (which in theory should be the strongest) loudly creaking when I barely press it to my leg. It also flexes completely straight. The second largest one that I was using for a pressed bronzing powder snapped in half on the second day of use. I was really hopeful about these and I really wanted them to work. I wish the handle was made of metal or even a higher quality plastic. Really bummed out. Glued it back together and will hope for the best on the rest.
