Cheap and Best
I wanted to improve the speed of a 5-year-old Dell Inspiron laptop. Decided to upgrade the RAM (4GB to 12 GB by adding an 8GB) and add an SSD (250GB). When searching for SSD, I came across this model to be cheaper than Crucial. Initially I was skeptic to buy this as the brand was unheard-of in India. But then I came I know that PNY is an established brand in the USA. I moved the existing HDD(1TB) to my DVD slot with the help of a Optical Drive Caddy. Then added this SSD to the main slot. Now I am running dual-boot with Windows 11 and Linux-Mint, both from SSD. It is running quite smooth and blazingly fast in comparison.

Compré este SSD PNY CS900 de 500GB para darle una segunda vida a un portátil antiguo, y el resultado ha sido impresionante. El arranque de Windows pasó de casi 2 minutos a menos de 20 segundos, y las aplicaciones cargan muchísimo más rápido. 💡 Puntos fuertes: Velocidad de lectura/escritura muy decente para un SATA III (aprox. 500 MB/s en mi caso) Instalación muy fácil, formato estándar de 2.5" Ideal para actualizar PCs o portátiles antiguos Silencioso, sin calor ni vibraciones 💸 Relación calidad-precio excelente, sobre todo si lo pillas en oferta. No es el SSD más rápido del mundo (comparado con NVMe), pero por el precio es una opción muy fiable y más que suficiente para la mayoría de usuarios. 📦 En mi caso venía sin tornillos ni adaptador, pero eso es normal en este tipo de productos. Solo tenlo en cuenta si lo necesitas para una torre. ✅ En resumen: Si buscas un SSD económico para acelerar un equipo, el PNY CS900 es una apuesta segura.

J'ai acheté ce PNY CS900 1 To pour remplacer l'ancien SSD de mon PC de bureau, et franchement, je suis bluffé par les performances. Les vitesses de lecture/écriture annoncées (jusqu'à 535 MB/s en lecture) sont bien au rendez-vous dans la réalité : démarrage de Windows en quelques secondes, chargement des jeux et logiciels ultra-rapide, transfert de gros fichiers en un clin d'œil. Installation très simple (format 2,5" classique SATA III), il s'intègre sans problème dans n'importe quel PC ou laptop qui a encore un port SATA. Aucun souci de compatibilité. Côté fiabilité, après plusieurs mois d'utilisation intensive (jeux, montage vidéo léger, stockage de milliers de photos), zéro secteur défectueux, zéro ralentissement. La marque PNY est reconnue pour ses SSD entrée/milieu de gamme solides, et celui-ci ne fait pas exception. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable : pour moins de 60 € le To, c'est clairement l'un des meilleurs choix en SATA actuellement si vous n'avez pas encore passé au NVMe. Bref, je recommande à 100 % à tous ceux qui veulent redonner un bon coup de jeune à leur machine sans se ruiner. 5 étoiles bien méritées !
