As CRM2013 has already changed so much in the last 12 months, not brilliant. If you have no knowledge of Dynamics CRM not great as it focus's mostly on new features and does not cover older features from previous versions in detail. Unfortunately there are no good books that would cover it all so this is as good a place to start as any. The CRM2011 unleashed book will cover features released under that version in more detail and may be a good place to start. Most of those features such as "solutions" "charts and dashboards", "multiple forms for entities" do not change between versions 2011-2013 so it may be wise to start there.

This book gives you a good overview of Dynamics CRM, but if you're hoping for detail, you'd be disappointed. In addition, there are way too many screenshots which tell you very little, and I can only be cynical and suggest they were used to pad out the book. Most of the screenshots are pretty unreadable too. The chapter on plugins concludes with "you created a basic plugin", which left me wondering where that bit was. I tracked back through the chapter, and yes, that bit was skipped! Could do better..

Without question, this book has jumpstarted our application migration initiatives and we are well on our way to realizing the fullest benefits very quickly. I was doubtful at first that one book would be able to cover everything in the application, but this book managed to address everything we needed - My staff was so thankful for the books, and they have already shown me some prototypes for the new applications, all to the credit of this book. I would have preferred deeper dives in a few areas – additional examples of PBL’s or example, but we were able to figure it out with the examples shown.

Das Buch ist sehr umfassend und gibt einen kompletten Überblick über die Versionen (Online und OnPremis) für alle die Dynamics CRM bereits kennen. Bestens geeignet für Berater, Power-User, Administratoren und Entwickler.

Excellent book. Answered all of my questions and more. Will pay for itself over and over.

Davvero completo sotto ogni punto di vista, abbraccia la totalità delle tematiche inerenti a MS Dynamics CRM13. Utile sia all'utente finale che allo sviluppatore entry level. Ottimo prodotto.
