Great brand- we have added this to our Van Essential window covers. This product is a perfect fit and function for our AirMax fan opening. Easy to install, this insulated cover will help us keep our van warm in the winter and cool in the summer- while also blocking out the early morning sun. Easy to install- remember to take your painters tape with you when you go to install it.

Easy to install. High quality. Fits perfect on my Fan-Tastic Vent in a 2010 Keystone Montana. Since I cant use a cushion style cover that goes inside because of the knob, this seemed like the only logical alternative. If I need to use the fan, the cover pulls off quick. Excellent!!

Purchased for our '18 Airstream Interstate. It's perfect! Very simple to install due to straight forward instructions. 15 minute project. High quality material and strong magnets. Especially like that you can fold it back on itself to allow some light and airflow. Completely worth the price. Highly recommend!

Owning a Thor Motor Coach van with a Dometic fan, I've always been on the hunt for a product that would be the right fit and offer solid functionality. Enter the VanEssential Magnetic Insulated Roof Vent Sun Cover. Installation? A dream come true. The magnetic design is straightforward and user-friendly. I just placed it atop my Dometic fan, and it clung instantly without any fuss. No straps, no clips, just a smooth attachment. One of the standout features has to be the insulation. My Thor Motor Coach van previously had a tendency to become a mini-oven or freezer, depending on the season. This cover genuinely bridges that gap, helping maintain a comfortable internal temperature. Plus, with its precise 16.5" x 16.5" dimensions, it offers a snug fit, ensuring effective sunlight blockage and UV protection, which is invaluable for protecting the van's interiors. Speaking of durability, this cover feels like it's built to withstand the elements. Whether it's been under the intense summer sun or enduring the sporadic rain showers, it's held up impressively, showing no signs of wear. All in all, favorably impressed. Install could use a tweak, perhaps. I'm replacing some of the Camco thick foam blocks, after replacing my dinky little vent fans with larger Hengs fans; the knob was too low for the Camco blocks to work well anymore. The install's pretty easy with one flaw, at least for my fan; I won't address the whole process, because it comes with the cover. The flaw is the holding mechanism for the magnets: neither painter's nor Gorilla tape could keep the magnets from sliding out. I finally used bits of 3M VHB tape, and that seems to be working much better. The magnets can be fussy to work with in this situation, since I was having to cut bits of tape and make sure the magnets were stuck correct-side down. Also...god forbid I ever need to remove those magnets. I didn't think of just using a very long strip of Gorilla tape until it was too late. Oops. However, once in the cover blocks most light, and while it won't be as insulative as the reflective-backed foam blocks I had before it should still be a considerable improvement over just having the vents open to the cabin. I'm not familiar enough with vent fans to say for sure, but I wonder if some plastic-backed "forms" with the magnets pre-installed wouldn't be a better solution than taping down a bunch of loose magnets.

So simple and efficient. Do not waste time trying to do anything on your own. Save your time and buy this. It is a perfect fit.

Never disappointed with Vanessential products

This sun cover has been absolutely fantastic in my camper. It fits perfectly over the roof vent and does exactly what it promises—keeps the light out and the heat in. Super easy install (just unscrew base plate of MaxxAir fan, tape small magnets inside the plate, screw it back on the whole thing takes less than 5 minutes). 1) Summer time: keep the bright sunlight out 2) Winter time: keeps the warm air in Looks great and is super easy on/off, stores nicely in its little bag.

Für den maxxfan super - es dunkelt gut ab und lässt auch die Kälte draußen. Man muss ein wenig mit den Magneten spielen. Haben wir aber gut hinbekommen, sie halten sehr gut.
