Loved this product. After pain-stakingly removing all the dirt and grime from my (10 year old) cast aluminum coated patio set, I took my time in applying AL-NEW as instructed. The furniture looked brand new again and when it rained, it beaded up and did not sit on the furniture after........even the furniture in direct sunlight everyday kept it's new look. I would recommend this (and already have) to anyone wanting to see their furniture revived like new again.

The product does a fairly good job of cleaning and the application on aluminum does make it look like it was freshly painted as it darkens the material. Easy to use and apply, wear a glove when applying as it seems caustic. I cleaned and basically shinned up 10 year old aluminum patio furniture. A little goes a long way. My only concern is, how long will it stay on and not fade or wash away. If the item is in direct sun within a few days it’s back to square one! My chaise lounge chair lost the shine in 2 days! Even with the items protected from the sun, I do not think it will last beyond a few weeks. There are a few other products on the market that work as well for half the price if this product. I was expecting more for what I paid.So if you want to add shine and spruce up your stuff for a few weeks buy it, it will work but do not expect it to last.

I used AL-NEW to restore black cast aluminum patio furniture which had turned dull gray due to oxidation. AL-NEW was very easy to use and required little elbow grease. I am pleased with the result. In the attached picture the chair on the left was treated while the chair on the right was not. I hope the improvement lasts through summer but even if it needs redone seasonally or more often I am ok with that.

Okay! After reading ALL the reviews I bought it Al-New and it is a good product. I think the manufacturer should do a better job stating that it depends on the level of oxidation the results will vary.I did one coat waited 24-36 hours and did another coat because some areas that had more oxidation kinda sucked up the first coat: I was also thinking proactively since some reviews said, after raining the results returned as if the item was untreated.So far it hasn’t been rained on or in an extremely damped environment. Application requires ZERO elbow grease just wipe on and you can immediately see the difference, after it completely dries you can judge if you’ll need to reapply. Hope this helps some undecided buyer!
