Core Meditation Trainer: Meditation Device for Relaxation, Stress Relief, and Anxiety Relief with Built in Mental Health Wellness App (Premium)

I have a busy brain and when I have attempted meditation in the past I have no idea if I am "doing it right" or making progress. The vibrations in Core give me one thing to focus on and the immediate feedback is a real plus I have only one complaint: I wish the charging connector was in the device, not the flimsy stand. I see that stand as an impediment to taking it when I travel and unnecessary to the design. (Example: I have the hypersphere massager which is identical in size and it charges directly on the device. Another software related thing: it would be great if this connected with some of the other health apps.

I love my core moments...

Tried setting up the app for the first time and it doesn’t work. The app has not been updated in 2 years according to the App Store. It has essentially been abandoned by the company, being unable to use the app makes the device useless. And RETURN!

You’re paying for some thing and it’s an incredible concept, however, getting vibrations to breathe is kind of overcharging

Updated to 4 stars from my original 1 star review below after Hyperice fixed a bug in their app that allowed me to pair it to my phone. I really like the device - it is helping me focus in meditation practice better than anything I have tried. I hope to use it for many years. Original review: I really wanted this device to support a meditation practice, however I could not get it to pair and got no support from Hyperice (and minimal communcation) after 2 weeks beyond telling me to reset the device and offering a replacement (which would not pair either). For the technically minded: - Samsung S9+ running Android 10 - I was able to pair "Core⚓ XXXX", "XXXXX", and "net" through the Bluetooth interface at various times. None of this satisfies the app, however. - I cleared the app's cache and data - I cleared the phone's Bluetooth cache - I unpaired all other Bluetooth devices from my phone - I reset my network settings - I factory reset my phone I was able to successfully pair the Core to my husband's Galaxy S10+. This review reflects the customer support experience, and is a warning for other S9/9+ owners; I was not able to really evaluate the Core experience.

Core is an amazing gadget! I have only been meditating for half a year, and have been using core for about 2 months. I have adhd so meditation can be difficult. Core helps improve concentration by using vibrations to mimic breathing techniques, this helps me bring my attention back to my breathing and calms me down, improving my meditation session. The app itself is one of the best I have tried. There are tons of good sessions to try out and help you with whatever you’re feeling. The only downside of the app is that you can’t choose all of the classes when you are using device free mode.

This vibrating core device and app makes mediating something that I must do everyday! I now look forward to meditating. The app tracks how well you’re doing and the recorded sessions are perfect!
