This is a great scale. This is the second one we have ordered and never had a minutes trouble. When we need another scale thia will be the go to. Very simple and easy to use with good battery back up. Comes with cord to plug in and use while it's charging.

Update: Only lasted 4 months. Only used half a dozen times. JUNK. However, the seller did send a replacement free of cost, which earned this 5 stars again for amazing customer service. This scale seems to be built heavy, but also appears to jump around and cannot settle on a number when weighing less than a lbs. When weighing heavier amounts, it settles perfectly. This is rather annoying, as half of what we do consists of less than a lbs weights. No sign of box damage or damage to the unit, seems to have come off the factory like this. We needed it bad enough though, that we cannot spare it to return for a new one to see if the replacement would have better luck.

After two to three weeks, the product’s poor quality rendered it unusable due to a damaged battery. 👎

This scale doesn’t have any indication of the NTEP certification on the scale itself. It has a bubble level and adjustable feet to ensure it’s level and comes with a hard plastic button protector.

Update: the company has a valid NTEP certificate again since 3/23. It was no problem getting it certified. We still have no response from the company re the computer interface, but most people will not need that. So I upgraded the rating to five stars for the product. =============================================== We bought the scale to be used on a farmers' market, meaning it needed to be state certified in NH. Turns out the NTEP certificate was real, but was not renewed for 2023. We contacted customer service a couple of times for this and for info about the computer interface, but got no response at all. The product itself seems to work fine.

I have the BT (battery) version. The battery died after a year. Not unexpected, but there is literally ZERO support. You can't just hop on Amazon and buy a replacement. You cant get one from the manufacturer. You should really click around their website. The only thing that works is the store. You can't actually register a warranty and there is NO support option other than an email.

We do a lot of gardening. We weigh a lot of produce and the scale has helped a lot. It goes from a 1.09 pound 1.59 to be exact. We do not mind giving a half pound extra to someone. Better to be a little over in case something is hard like okra.

It is well made and very solid scale. Would buy again. Great value for the money...we have spent up to $600.00 for the same product. Great deal at this price.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. The scales does what I need it to do. It is easy to transport from farm market to market. The weights are consistent , and weights are exactly the same as my everyday, daily weight checked. I even ordered a second scales today. I wanted to have a spare on hand in case I needed it .

I ordered this because despite of all the scales we use to weigh our luggages, we end up with wrong readings. So we opted to go professional. Looks sturdy and durable. The platform/weighing tray is made of stainless steel and has 4 feet located under it which aligns and sits well with the 4 precision sensors of the body of the scale. It has a bubble level on top just under the platform to ensure you are perfectly level, and 4 adjustable leveling feet are there to do just that. The body is made of ABS. Tough. Will not easily crack or deform. Came with an adapter with a proprietary barrel port. To turn this on, there is a main rocker switch underneath. This has to be on. Another power button on the front panel. The display is intuitive. Very clear red LED. The entire right side are the buttons to control the function of the scale. Has the usual power button, tare, conversion of pounds and kilograms, memory, etc. We don’t plan to use this for business. Surprised that it has a rechargeable battery. So you can go wireless with this. Haven’t used this for a long time yet so the battery life is undetermined. Has a compartment for alkaline batteries but it has no use. This was probably battery powered initially but was converted to rechargeable ones. Overall, i like it. Gives a better reading than my other scales.

This rechargeable digital scale from Bromech has a max capacity of 66 lb. While this scale is not for trade, it is handy in the kitchen. The display is easy to read and the scale seems to be made with quality components. The stainless steel weight platform is easy to clean too. The rest of the scale is mostly plastic, but does not feel too cheap. The current price of $130 CAD probably isn't the greatest value, so you might shop around a bit if you are not in a hurry.
