RTDEP UMM 3mm Neoprene Water Sock

I used these to hike a vary cold river in Utah (Zion Narrows) during the month of October. They work great and the thickness was perfect! There were some in our group that had thinner ones and they had complaints. The straps are nice to have as well. We used wet suits as well for half the trip and the worked flawless with and without the suit. If your looking for something along these lines then don't think twice, they work great. I see getting plenty me use out of mine.

Bought these for my daughter who is a competitive swimmer. Because of covid she was missing out on a lot of pool time. Early spring she asked for a wet suit so she could lake swim. The lakes and ponds are still very cold where we live. She soon discovered she would need booties as well as a hood and gloves. These booties work perfectly for her needs. They fit well and stayed on even when she was kicking hard. They shipped very fast. My daughter is back in the pool for practice now. However she thinks she will want to lake swim more come fall and will want to use her booties again.

These neoprene socks are designed to retain body warmth in ice cold underwater environments, so now that the nighttime temperatures have dropped significantly, I can now comment on this. A few recent nights have been near freezing (34 degrees F), and these socks fulfilled their promise for warmth and comfort. They're thick, however - as a rule, I've found that a pair of shoes that are one size larger than you would normally wear provide the right fit.

These booties worked really for my purpose. I thought they were going to be too small, but they fit just fine on my size 12's.I used these as a "sock" on my feet in wading boots while I would wet-wade without waders on while fly fishing. During summer I like to wade without my heavy waders on, but then my boots are too sloppy on my feet without something on my feet. Socks just get gross doing this. Bought these to go hiking in the Zion narrows. These run a bit small, I'm a size 9 mens and originally ordered a large but my toes were squished so I ordered the extra large and they fit much better. The socks were very comfortable and seemed to be of a pretty decently high quality.Despite the cold water of mid-September, our feet stayed relatively warm and comfortable throughout the 3 hour hike. Keep in mind, these are made of neoprene so they don't keep water out and your feet will still get wet. They also did a good job of keeping sand and pebbles from getting into our socks thanks to the high style and straps. And best of all, at the end of it, we got out of the hike blister-free.The only downside is the straps were a bit tight on my wife's socks, but they were fine for me. Longer straps would be appreciated but despite that, would definitely recommend.

Last year, during our stay at the beach, one of my children got a nasty cut from a broken seashell. After that, I told my children to wear their Crocs sandals when they are on the beach or in the water. The problem is, sand got in the sandals which made it very uncomfortable. In the water, those sandals kept wanting to float!This year, we decided to try these neoprene socks ---- the best decision ever! !The socks are made of high quality material. The velcro straps keep sand out beautifully.Note: do not try to put these on wet feet. The material sticks to wet skin and makes it impossible for the [wet] feet to slide in.

Works surprising well for the price. I wore these on a 21 mile kayaking trip in Big South Fork back in Oct 2018. The water was shallow and required a lot of portage over in rocky and wet conditions. No tears or signs of wear. If I would change anything I'd make the securing straps out of neoprene too. The elastic became pretty stretched out by the end of the trip and the socks started to slip off my foot slightly, but more importantly my feet weren't cold and torn to shreds so all in all it was well worth the price.

These socks were perfect for our white water rafting trip to Colorado this May. I was so worried that my feet were going to be so cold while on/in the water but these socks were amazing! My feet were a smidge cold (because your feet are bound to get wet) but absolutely not uncomfortable/unbearable thanks to these socks! I wear a size 6.5 shoe and got the mediums. I feel they felt good on my feet size wise...I wouldn't have wanted to get smaller I don't think. They do tend to make your shoes feel small because of their thicker material but it's not uncomfortable. Can't wait to use them next time!
