KT Tape, Original Cotton, Elastic Kinesiology Athletic Tape, 20 Count, 10” Precut Strips, Pink

I’ve been using KT Tape Original Cotton Elastic Kinesiology Tape for a while now, and it’s been a game-changer for my joint support. It’s strong but still comfortable — the cotton material feels breathable and doesn’t irritate my skin even when I wear it all day. I use it on my knees and shoulders, and it really helps reduce discomfort during workouts and everyday activities. It stays in place through sweat and movement, and I love that it’s easy to cut to the size I need. Overall, great quality tape that actually works — I’ll definitely keep it in my first-aid kit and buy it again!

I'm suffering with painful joint deterioration in several joints in my Rt foot which will require surgery. I know eventually it will have to happen; BUT this KT tape has worked so well. I wrap the center of my RT foot and I'm able to walk with less pain.. It's bought me a couple of months! A+++

KT tape is good stuff. I love Rock tape too, but KT wins for quality at a better price point every time. I have a problem with adhesives on tape. Using Kinesio tape always comes with a downside for me and a limit on how long I can use it for. Once removed from 90% of places on my body I've used it I will have scabs in the tape pattern that take a couple of weeks to heal. KT is the same as any other tape I've used. It has kept me walking many times when I might not otherwise have been able to do so and it has save my neck, back, and shoulders many times. Currently I'm using it to support and help my foot...fortunately the bottom of my foot doesn't seem to mind the adhesive - a miracle!

i have a evil knee pain and this helps. i bought the purple. it's a pretty color. comes in a nice little box which is easy to throw in your bag and a guide on how to apply. breathable material. in terms of use, it's very bipolar. i apply it the same way every time; clean, dried, typically sterilized skin. i even shave, incase that matters. some pieces peel off, some stick for days; it's something with the adhesive, to my knowledge. the cheaper crap makes me blister with one day of use. this does not, even with multiple days of wear. id like better adhesive on this; i know these aren't the strongest ones but i cant afford to pay 20$ every time i need to tape my knee, which is almost daily; and while this lasts, like i said, the adhesive is SO hit or miss between pieces. overall, it works. if it werent for the adhesive being weird, 5 stars. but i will be reordering this!

Ok first off, no one could have ever convinced me that tape would have relieved the pain I've been having in my hip for years. For over a year now it has been non stop and debilitating and causing me massive depression. I bought this tape cuz what did I have to lose, other than a few bucks. I taped my hip before work today and holy Mary mother of Jesus for the 1st time in over a year, I have no pain. None. I cannot believe it!!!! I am in shock! I worked a whole shift and can walk afterward. I feel great! I need to find this in bulk because I'll be taping myself up like an amazon package, everyday for the rest of my life! I've tried bulky braces, heat, cold, stretching, compression, yoga didn't even help and low and behold, tape fixed it. I still can't believe it! Here we are a full week later and I am still pain free. Did you hear me? I AM STILL PAIN FREE!!! This product has given me my life back. Now after working all day at my store, I am able to come home and live a little bit. No more limping to the heating pad and laying about until my next shift. Who would have thought, something as simple as tape, would cure my hip pain. I'm ever sleeping better and I know I am in an overall better mood. If you're contemplating or skeptical, please just try it. For less than $20 you can find out if it will work for you. Of course if you're diabetic or on blood thinners or otherwise unsure, ask your PCP just to be sure it's ok for you to use but, you don't have to live in pain. The days of our only options being pain or narcotics is over. I am so grateful that I found this tape. It's so nice to be able to spend time with my family and do things I enjoy. I want to answer the question I know everyone has, too... No, the pain doesn't get worse when I remove the tape. It has actually helped so much with the inflammation, that when I'm not taped up, I'm not having as much pain as I was before.

The tape is great! It has good hold and works wonderfully to protect my joint. It manipulates easily unlike some cheaper brands and because I use it to do aerial, I am thankful for that!

The tape has helped for now but its not for long term use. It is providing temporary relief. It should be put on by a second person but unfortunately I didnt have that option.

I've been using this tape over the past couple years on my tennis elbows. I went through 4 boxes with varying results. A year ago I would have given it an average 3 star rating but now I've figured out how to make it work the best, I think it totally deserves 5 stars when used properly. First of all, when the tape is on, it is really effective. I feel a lot of support on my elbow as long as the tape is on. It did take me a while to figure out how to make it stay longer. If the tape has been produced a while ago or box has been opened for a while, then the glue may lose power. Obviously. My leftover box from last year's injury didn't work quite well this year. The tapes would start to peel off shortly after I put them on, even though I wiped my arm with rubbing alcohol. Also, even though I didn't use my first two boxes last year with rubbing alcohol, I felt that they were somehow "old" even when newly purchased. The glue just seemed thinner and not as shiny as the boxes I have right now. Unfortunately it is impossible to tell if you have an "old" box until you open it. For the best results, definitely clean with soap first, then wipe the area with rubbing alcohol before applying the tapes. (Last year I only used soap to clean my arm and the tape will stay for no more than 12 hours.) And absolutely avoid touching the glue with your fingers. As soon as the tape is on your skin, press on and rub it quickly to generate heat around the area so the heat will activate the glue ingredient to work better. My current box will stick for about 3 days, hardly affected by sweating. Even though some edges will peel very slightly, it doesn't progress further and will hold the support very firmly even after multiple showers. Normally I peel it off myself before the tape falls off because I want to avoid skin sensitivity from frequently and prolonged application and excessive usage of the surrounding muscles supporting the pain spot. Depending on where you use it, picking the uncut roll may be better so you can cut it to a longer length. I just find the pre-cut roll more convenient because of the way I use it, especially because they come with round corners. Whether you buy the pre-cut or continuous roll, you should always cut the corners so that all corners are round. It greatly prevents peeling. [Updated in July 2014] I'm returning the rating back to 3 stars because of too frequent occurrences of the failed glue and the skin irritation from the glue+rubbing alcohol. At this point I've completely switched to Kinesio Tex Gold tape. The Kinesio tape is thinner (fabric+glue), breathes better, water resistant, and can stay on skin for as long as 5 days. The KT tape is thicker, when stretched with the same degree as Kinesio tape, will peel in less than 20 minutes. However, I still want to stress that if you can keep it on, it is still extremely effective. The problem is that it's hard to keep it on. It also gives me a lot of skin irritation after more frequent re-applying within, say the same week. If I use Kinesio, I only need to put it on once and it lasts for days. If I use KT Tape, it will peel off and I need re-use rubbing alcohol and re-apply the tape the next time I exercise, subsequently causing a lot more skin irritation. KT Tape is only a little cheaper than Kinesio, with a lot more re-application and failure to stay, I actually run out a lot faster than Kinesio tape. At this point it ceased to become an effective option for me.

Good adhesion even after a bath

This tape is the best that I have tried. Holds for 3-4 days and is waterproof in the shower. Highly recommend.

Fabulous tape which stayed on for a week and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Used it on my painful and inflamed knee. I watched a video on how to apply and was far easier to apply than I thought! I have rheumatoid arthritis and suffer flares with various joints. The tape is immensely helpful in self management and allows me to continue to exercise and keep moving during painful flares. For example, my knee was supported and enabled me to use the spin bike and do squats and lunges which I otherwise would not have been able to do without causing injury and increasing inflammation. High recommend.
