I am really happy with these. However I am going to chop this part up to my error as one of the seals on the container chipped away. I think this is my bad because it was very cold coming out of the fridge and made the plastic brittle. They probably work BEST as a dry container or an open container in the fridge. They are leak proof when the seal is not broken as after I chipped it, that one no longer worked. Love that the lids are not to the same container and the containers fit inside each other. I see a lot of home cooks using this stuff for easy storage at home! They get the job done, just because careful and maybe let them warm up a bit before "cracking" it open, pun intended.

UPDATE: Now that I've had some time to use these, I would NOT buy again. I never use them for the microwave I just freeze my items in them and thaw on counter and now noticing that the bottom of these is so thin they are cracking so not good freezer material or for long-term use. DO NOT BUY!!! I will never again. I bought these to store homemade cat food for my special kitty dealing with kidney failure. They are 8 oz, in size so you can store a little or store the full container. The top snaps down quite securely and since I have not used liquids yet only gave that rating three stars because I don't know if they are liquid tight. I would buy again if needed.

UPDATE:: I've been using these for a month or so. For soup, chili, yogurt parfaits and burrito bowls. I'm actually loving these bowls! I was surprised, but they've held up so well in the microwave and dishwasher! They seem kinda flimsy but honestly, they seem so durable. I've used all of them several times over and over. There was a little discoloration with microwaving chili but not near as bad as my Rubbermaid bowls do. Aside from being durable, these have really helped with portion control. I've actually noticed my clothes fit looser since I started prepping in these bowls for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'll likely buy more as 15 just isn't enough. Improving score from 3 stars to 4! Purchased these for meal prep. They're the perfect size for 1/2 cup yogurt, 1 cup fruit and 1/2 cup granola! So I made 5 parfaits for my lunch this week the day I received them which was last Sunday, it's currently Wednesday. I've been happy with them this far. They truly are the exact size I was looking for. I believe they claim to be dishwasher and microwave safe but I'm not sure I'd put them in the microwave. They may be ok but I'd imagine with a short period of time they'd need to be pitched. Three of the four lids I've used this week are peeling the shiny layer, so this contributes to my questions on the true durability. They were hand washed by me before use with a traditional soft sponge and dish soap so I'm not sure what would cause the containers to flake so quickly other than the true quality. They seem to be leak proof as far as yogurt and fruit juice go. Great price, meh quality but honestly, they work so well for my meal prep lunches. So I'll keep using them.
