I've seen the reviews of "leaks everywhere". Has this issue been addressed or is there a satisfactory work around to prevent leaking?

I loved the look of these. I purchased them a year ago and I'm getting rid of them. I'm tired of cleaning oil off of my kitchen counters. I have caregivers in every day for my parents, and I need simple tools that don't need special instructions to prevent dripping oil onto my counters.

how can I clean inside of this?

All I did was put a few drops of dish soap inside, shake it around and rinse, rinse, rinse, until water runs clear of the soap.
