It’s this clown right here. The dating plan satisfied my hunger. It was perfect in all ways. Sara Desai captured Indian culture very accurately from hot pakoras to noisy aunties. I just couldn’t help but love everything in this book. It was cozy, cute, and mesmerizing. The plot of the book was simple and we have seen this everywhere but the way the author wrote the book with fun chatpata twists and humor here and there made all the difference.Every character in this book was interesting and I couldn’t help but laugh at Daisy’s Aunties antics; her family reminded me of my own. The way they are all so close and how you can never hide anything from them because they are better than the actual Gossip Girl in the show.Reading this jewel made me feel all sorts of ways. In the best way possible. Daisy Patel is an icon. Her character was remarkable. She’s brave, fierce and would do anything to protect her family and friends. Liam Murphy is my precious gem. He is such a gentleman. He made himself the villain so his friend could have a happy life and this boi- he went through a lot and he still thinks about others and puts their happiness first. My love for him is as big as this planet.Watch me as I pick up every book Sara Desai writes because I’m in love with this woman."𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙧𝙖𝙖𝙯," 𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙙, "𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚"

A proper enjoyable read
I'm very happy I chose to read this book. It lived up to my expectations of an enjoyable light fun chic lit book. Good story, and great character chemistry.

The Dating Plan - Sara Desai

One of the best romances of the year!
“The Dating Plan” was everything I love in a book, and more. It’s a slow-burn, second-chance love story, with adorable frenemies-to-lovers main characters, lots of fake-dating, lots of swoon, lots of laugh-out-loud moments.Daisy is the perfect heroine: she’s super smart, cool, fierce, has a passion for heels, spreadsheets, and Avengers underwear (I told you she was cool!). Liam has a bad boy vibe but it’s secretly a cinnamon roll who has been pining for Daisy all of his life and believes he’s not good enough for her. Their chemistry is off the charts, sizzling, scorching, dare I say…furniture wrecking? *winks*Even though this is essentially a romantic comedy, be warned that some heavy topics are discussed in the book (see my report for more info) – but I think the author handled that very well. The fun moments prevail, and so does the romance. In a nutshell, this was a GREAT read and I definitely recommend this book!

With peace and love, this book is terrible. So terrible I didn't even know a work that is this bad could be published, and I say that as someone who is completely down to read cheesy romcom fanfiction on a Friday night. I've been on a romance novel kick and was so excited to read this one after some of my favourite booktubers had placed it on their TBR's and because of THAT STUNNING COVER. Unfortunately, the text did not live up to the hype. I felt like a lot of the start of the book had great potential to discuss/cover many issues well (family disputes, interracial dating, miscommunications, dealing with trauma, etc) but those aspects were not handled realistically or believably whatsoever during the remainder of the plot. It seemed like many of the key relationship development moments were just grazed over in summary which made me not even care if the couple ended up together, and they constantly seemed waaaaay to immature (ie. being 30 year old adults obsessed with their high school prom and wearing superhero underwear). I loved Daisy's family, there were some funny bits scattered about, and I admired that Daisy had work/hobby interests outside of her romantic partner, which made me finish the book, but apart from that this was painful to get through.

Adorable!
This book is the perfect summer romance! It’s sweet, funny, has truly beautiful serious moments. I loved seeing both Indian and Irish culture represented, and as an Irish gal myself, quite accurate! My only complaint is there is no more books with these characters! I suppose that’s a good thing
