The media could not be loaded.  Are you tall? Do you have a ridiculously low shower head? Well, not anymore! Introducing the Coeur Extension Arm. It is easy to install and requires little to no tools. You just wrap each of the threaded parts with plumber’s tape and screw them together. It comes with a very easy to follow instruction sheet as well as extra washer and O-ring. I did use my pipe wrench to gently righted down the 6-sided nut when zi was finished with the installation. The other tightening points have easy-to-use wing nuts you just twist down by hand. There is also a trouble-shooting sheet if you run in to any leakage.This product is solid brass chrome and looks very nice with the new chrome water filter and shower fixture. The best part about this extension arm is I no longer have to duck to get my head wet. It is practically vertical. I used my tiny shower head for now, and it works and looks great with this shower arm.

I needed to upgrade my shower arm to an extended one to support a new large 10" rain shower head. I've had in the past one that would no longer hold the angle desired and kept inching downward, even with tightening the screws as much as possible. Now, with a larger rain shower head, I knew I had to get an arm that could maintain the head at a 90-degree angle. This shower arm is well-made, and yes, it holds its angle firmly at both of its joints utilizing its strong gear locks, despite being a longer arm (16 inches) and having to support a heavier shower head. It has great water flow and it does not leak. It comes with multiple extra washers and Teflon tape.

I like this product, it seems to be sturdy and all metal. It was easy to install and they provided the plumbers tape. They also provide extra washers. The downside, the washer on the device was already bad when they sent the product. So, I had to take everything apart and replace it straight out of the box. (Which on a side note, was easy to do as well!) I would have returned it but needed this product right away. Unfortunately, there is not a contact the seller option. But all around I am happy with this product.

After spending a small fortune at a local nationally known hardware store and being assured that it would fit which it didn’t, I returned everything because none of it worked. So I did a little research and found this, because my shower coming out of the wall is only 5’ 5” high and I’m 6’ 3” so I was almost bent double to take a shower. This has turned everything around. I have now ordered an 8” rain shower head to go on this as well, and it is guaranteed to work with this fitting. So for a quarter of the cost of what I would’ve spent in my big name local hardware store, I’ve completely re-fitted my shower. I highly recommend this item to anyone who is over 6 foot tall who is dealing with a short height shower head.

I'm not a huge fan of the locking mechanism in the arm that forces you to select a certain angle (like it's notched or something), because you can't select a custom angle for the arm, If one of the angles it offers don't work for you, you are out of luck. You can't really lock it into position between notches. It will slip out of it and into one of the nearest notches. It hasn't been a huge deal for my setup, but I'm not overly happy with either of the positions that line up in my shower. I get it though - this this is so long that it has a good amount of weight hanging out on the end, and it would put a lot of strain on the joint and the washer/gasket there if there were no notches.The arm is very well made of quality materials. I have complete confidence it will hold up well, which is nice considering the lack of quality you often see in shower arms like this. My last one had one of the joint tighteners break. One side of the thing broke off. Cheap materials. That should never happen with this one.

The media could not be loaded.  Nah, was going to extend my shower head but it was to heavy. No matter the tightness or wraps of tape I put on, it leaked like a live. I replaced the head with a lighter head fearing that the load was too much but nope. Inspected all the rings, reset them and attempted a retry this time with the water flowing as I tightened. Nope, still leaked and squirted out the sides of the main attachment point. Just go by good rainfall showerhead and save your money.

I notice that the tightening nut must not be loosened, or water gushes out. Not sure why that is. Not an issue yet, as the fasteners are good. No undue movement and very stable water flow. I have mine relatively horizontal, despite being 6'1", as luckily I have a tall shower stall. I think the water flow is possibly better when this device is kept on a more horizontal plane.

Does what it says it does, it's sturdy and doesn't affect the pressure at all

If you are getting a rain shower head, get this extension. You want the shower head away from the front of the tub and have your shower cascade straight down on you. Easily adjusts and stays secure at any angle.
