Story well told.., Tears and joys
I read this book front to back ,thank you so much for sharing your sister's life journey and how her life had brought so much joy to her immediate family as well as her friends, co -workers Church Members and anyone else that was bless to have known Leanne or was bless to be in her presence . I brought this book because I have a friend who son was born with RTS and I wanted to know all about his Syndrome. It is a sad day that in 2016 Doctors still don't know much about it. Her child was taken from her due to neglect, unbeknownst He had RTS. So yes, this book is and will be very very helpful to anyone that has or know of a Child or families or friend struggling with RTS or any other disabilities. I plan to pass this book on to Lawyers, social workers, Doctors and families. If not the book itself, then the name of this book. This book is short and sweet you will get the jest of her life journey, as if you walked through her life with her. I feel like I knew Leanne. So thank you mom and sister for sharing this stories

Encouragement for Families with Challenged Children
Although the telling of Leanne's story was a little dry, I believe this little glimpse into her life (and that of her family) will be a blessing to those caring for children with this disorder or other disabilities.Although I can appreciate why author Debbie Roome presented her sister's story in this way, from both her mother's and her own viewpoints, I'm not sure that really worked as well as it could have. Even so, I was left with great admiration for the family.The greatest encouragement from Loving Leanne, however, came from knowing that Leanne had initially been written off by her doctor as uneducable. She certainly showed that doctor wrong. It just goes to show that sometimes there are greater powers at work than medicine can understand--a mighty God and a family's love.

Heart wrenching
I would rate this book a 5 for reasons I have a Grandson with RTS and have a way better understanding of the Syndrome now when Doctors can't answer revert back to a family that lives it - I Highly recommend reading this to anyone that has,a child or knows a child with a rare disease .

Easy to read
A simply written book for a fast read. Touching story but a few grammatical errors and poor editing distracted me a wee bit

let down
When writing 46yrs of someones life I expect details. It was rushed and I feel didnt incorporate what its like to truly have a special needs child. I was very disappointed.
