Roll over image to zoom in         Roll over image to zoom in        I recommend you buying another battery. Sincerely it's not safe to repair a battery. You could get burn or another accident. I have repair a lot of plastic stuff, bumpers, truck parts/components, radiators, water deposits, wiper deposits you name it. But never a battery. I have also tried a lot of adhesives and epoxy. And also the plastic welder Kit from urethane supply. However the best adhesion and strength I have acquired is from the 8272 from 3m it is expensive but it's worth it.

Question 2

I just refinished the kitchen sink and the paint is already peeling. I want to use this clear epoxy to protect the sink from peeling. has anybody use it for that purpose?

This two-part epoxy, when mixed with its 'Part B' hardener (pictured), will cure in an amber color.  The final result will *not* be clear.

Question 3

System 3 suggests mixing by weight for small batches. How accurate must you be (e.g., is 55 to 45 OK)? How do you get that accuracy?

System 3 is pretty forgiving on the mix but does have a volume or weight criteria to follow. Volume is 1:1 for A & B and works out pretty well spec wise. Weighing 100 part A and 83 Part B is the best way to go for strength. 50/50 mix would be better than 55/45 for ease of mixing. A and B with the same volume weigh differently anyway because of their viscosity differences. Have fun and do a sample test! Bob
