Label reads "excellent for waxed and coated surfaces". If your car needs waxing, foam will not stick very well. This a very good product for general vehicle maintenance.

It would be safe on aluminum. Whether or not it is safe on electrical parts is really a question for the manufacturer of those parts to confirm if they are able to get wet.
