Color Enhancer Sealer for All-Natural Stone and Pavers. Marble, Travertine, Limestone, Granite, Slate, Concrete, Grout, Brick, Block. (1-Quart)

Tried this as suggested by my contractor. I wanted a new kitchen backsplash in natural stone pieces ~ 2”x 3”. What I sampled (and later bought at Floor & Decor) was a sheet of dull pasty chalk colored stones. After wiping all the dust off & then painting on the stone enhancer - I couldn’t believe my eyes! Chalky dull stone became all variations of vivid river rock natural colors. Colors matched how the stone looks when it’s wet. But the color does not fade once stone is dry. Stones remain colorful and as natural as looking at a wet creek bed. I went back to purchase 50 more stone sheets for my kitchen & the stone was marked down to 1/3rd of original price. I feel like their inventory must not have been moving because the poor stone looked so anemic & chalky, nobody would buy it. Final note - a little goes a very long way.

✨️I would totally purchase this product again. Product, sealant, worked as advertised! First I gently dusted the 1900s brick, applied mild, mild light application of an all natural cleaning solution to gently lift built up oils, but not saturate with a squeezed sponge. Followed all instructions and used the entire quart. I poured out modest amounts on a small hand held bowl then applied with a 3" painters brush, super soft! Color bloomed over dry time and clean up was a breeze! Used the whole quart for an average size fireplace with 3 bricked sides, top mantle brick and lower loading ledge brick, traditional construction. Quart size easiest to handle and I dabbed the excess off brush before each repeat brush application. This is old brick, not of the highest quality, but the sealant enriched the golds, tans, reds to rich terracottas in varying hues. I did not get the soft sheen, but I did not expect to with my brick at a fragile state: rough in many areas, etc... The improved color, depth and likely improved integrity is great to see, oh and super easy to apply✨️

This Black Diamond stone sealer does what it is supposed to do sealing-wise. It was used to seal a five foot slab of bluestone I placed (which much effort) in front of my fireplace. The clear sealant was easy to use, with very little odor and a consistency slightly thicker than water. It brushes on with little effort (I used a 3" synthetic bristle paint brush) and in several hours dries to the touch, although does not fully dry until several hours later. I applied two coats since that location gets lots of use and possibly fireplace fallout. The stone appears sealed however the stone's color is significantly darker than it originally was. Maybe this is good or bad depending on your preference, but it does maintain a darker, wet look on bluestone. Black Diamond also sells a wet look sealer product but this also looks wet after curing, at least on bluestone. As for protection, for the month or so I have had it applied it seems to work well. If over time anything changes, I will be sure to update. I attached before and after pictures for reference. Good luck.

We used on our fireplace surround. Evened the color of the slate and gives just the right amount of shine (slight). A little goes a long way on an interior project.

I love this stuff!!! I used it on my stacked stone kitchen backsplash and it made the WORLD of difference!! (See before & after photos). I really wanted my backsplash to be dark (almost black) and this did the trick! It was easy to apply and I barely made a dent in the bottle even after doing 2-3 coats. It went on smooth with a paintbrush and I didn’t notice any smell. Great value!!

I used this product on my covered slate patio. It looked great after applying, other than being slick to walk on. However, the color enhancement and protection wore off after rinsing the floor with water in the spring. The significant issue is that there were cloudy, white patches on the slate. I've used a pressure washer and various commercial stone cleaners to remove the milky look, but I couldn't get rid of it. I asked a professional stone mason to fix it, and he said that it's permanent - I can't do anything about it; the milky look is now part of the stone. The product may work on other types of stone, but don't use on natural slate.

👍👍 Satin to semi finish. I have bright undercounters and only the slightest glare off edges. Love the finish- slight darkening but the colors pop! fYI a little goes a very long way. Only used 1/2pint or so for 2 coats on 29.5ft X17in stagger stacked unfinished slate backsplash (I would load a bunch of picks but Sorry Amazon, I'm not giving you access to my phone and contacts while I'm not using the app to do so) Easy cleanup. Sugst, 1-2oz in your working container, dab with a goodold brush. Start with the ends and cracks. 2 coats for sure. Very watery but that is needed to absorb. No issues with removal in finished woodwork, Formica counter or Paint My #1issue with my slate backsplash has always been the dusty look at the cut edges, this 💯 fixes that!

There is not 2.5 start review to make it 50% so I gave 3 start as it looked nice for 2 days. As can be seen in the pictures, it changes and enhances the stone color after application; I am not sure how long it will last as some color started diminishing but may be its the nature of that that stone; only time will tell. Note: I will suggest NOT to use spray pump or gun. You will waste lot of liquid, moreover it will splash everywhere. Try to avoid cement, only apply on the stone with a brush. That way it will look natural and cement will not suck all the liquid. Handle it carefully without spill or body contact. As the product suggests, prep work is imp. Make sure to clean stone with mild soap water, let it dry and then apply.

Our Rundle Stone fireplace was looking a little 'worn' and I originally looked at painting it , but really didn't want to lose the texture and colors in the stone . The color enhancer transformed the fireplace, one coat , so easy to apply , no toxic smell and really brought out the natural beauty of the stone ! Love it !

had some dark blue concrete/ cement tiles put in the bathroom which started to go white and stained despite cleaning them regularly. in fact some of the cleaning products made it worse. i needed a product that would darken them back up as well as protect them. Easy to use and has done a brilliant job tiles are looking like when they were first laid. Very pleased with the result. Before and after pictures.

Works very well and so easy to use. I just put a sprayer nozle in the bottle. Sprayed the entire wall. Left it 10mins then went over it with a towel. You can put another coat on immediately. You don't have to wait which is great.

My slate floors were looking terrible. This did a great job of refreshing the tiles natural color. The only down side is that after you apply it you have to wait 10 minutes and then wipe the excess. This takes longer than the application. I recommend this product but it takes a bit of time.

I was tempted to return this item but decided it was (just) worth the cost. I used it on slate which when washed and still wet was a beautiful orange and blue, this product doesn't bring out as much of the blue as I'd like but the orange is stunning and it seals against general dust and muck. I also used some large stone pieces for my raised flower bed borders, again when wet, were beautiful pinks, blues and greens, sadly this was not as effective on the rough surfaces and just darkened the stones rather than drawing out the colours. A hint for any user, avoid getting it on concrete. I tried to draw out the colours on two gateway pillars we'd built out of off-cut granite and limestone (in that rugged country style) and it makes the concrete stand out over the stone which was the opposite of what I wanted.
