I have the #4 brush. It's worth noting that my experience with/regular use of makeup is pretty minimal. What I have used this brush with so far is putting on BB cream. And I gotta say.... it's the best method of applying a liquid cream to my face that I've encountered so far. In the past I've used my fingers, cotton pads/swabs, and those silicone pads. I was incredibly surprised at how wonderful this brush was. As you'll probably see in other reviews as well, the brush part is so dense with bristles yet SO SOFT that it really does almost feel like a piece of foam. It was so nice and soft on my face. It seemed to spread the cream so easily and perfectly, probably because the tiny movements of the 'bristles' could contour with the skin and the fine hairs on the face, rather than just wiping the cream across the surface like using a silicone pad or your fingers. With a very small effort, the cream was blended almost flawlessly (as much as my own skills can allow, anyway). It allowed me to put it on in an even, light, and almost invisible layer. I'm sold. Plus, the cream did not really absorb into the brush. After I applied the cream to my face, I wiped the brush and barely anything was left on/in it. I think this is brilliant.The only thing I would change is that the packaging and the product itself don't seem to be labeled to indicate which brush size it is. If they want you to buy more, I think at least sticking a 'oval brush 4#' on both the package and the product would be smart and useful to the consumer who wants to stick with the brand.

I have been curious about these makeup brushes since I had seen them in a makeup tutorial. I am so satisfied with this. It is the #4, and it is small, but I only have used it to blend my liquid foundation. I love that it leaves my skin looking matte but not flat! It gives me an airbrush look. I am giving this product four stars because it is a little bit flimsy so I feel like if I were to use it for more than just blending my foundation, or use it more than once per day, it would snap pretty easily. I have never used another oval brush like this, so I really don’t have anything to compare it to, but I would recommend this particular brush to anyone wanting a decent priced brush to add to their daily routine.

I absolutely love this brush. I wanted to use the brush everyday for a month and take notice of any changes before I posted my review. Let me just say that I have had problem skin for years- had perfect skin through high school and my early 20s, and then shortly after I had my first child, I started having terrible breakouts and terribly uneven skin tone problems.I have tried countless products, different creams, foundations, powders, treatments... and nothing worked. After seeing this brush, It dawned on me that I had never thought that the application process I had always used (just using my fingers to apply the makeup) could be part of the problem, and that a simple change of makeup application could do the trick! After ordering the brush, I can honestly say that I have not been disappointed! My skin looks so much smoother and my makeup coverage is so much better with this brush! The brush itself is easy to hold, and the bristles are incredibly soft and smooth. The quality of this brush is top notch. I will definitely be buying more! I am very satisfied!

I decided to try this brush as my new foundation brush. My $50.00 brush absorbed too much of my liquid foundation, so I needed to try something else! I love this brush! I love how it is slightly curved so that I can blend well under my eyes and around my nose. The bristles are so soft and do not absorb my liquid foundation, so I am wasting far less! The rubber grip handle is perfect to hold onto while applying my foundation. I do not use this as a contouring brush because I love it far too much to use it on anything aside from my liquid foundation!

This brush applicator is really nice. It's much smaller than I imagined it'd be but that's ok because it fits around the eyes and it's soft enough for concealer. Foundation goes on smoothly. After trying out the silicone applicator the only downfall is that it does absorb makeup, but that's going to happen with any and all brushes so I can't really knock it for that. Overall I'm happy with the brush and am now torn on which one to use!

I never tried an oval brush before so I was excited to give this one a go! The bristles themselves are very soft and the quality is good. I am not entirely sure how to use it though, since the brush circumference is small and the bristles are short, it doesn't seem to work well for me. I will have to look into more ways to use it. The quality alone gets four stars from me!

I'm absolutely in love with this brush, I am even considering ordering the whole set. I have been using a brush from another well known department store makeup brand but this brush blows that one out of the water. It is so soft! The coverage is 100x better! And even easier to clean. I can't recommend this brush enough.

The bristles are really soft. The size is good. I can use this to apply foundation or cream blush. I don't contour my face so there's not too much blending going on. However the handle felt really light and I wasn't sure if that was the design or if it was just a cheaper material based on the other reviews that I read.
