Technically plug and play, however it's more to it than that. You have to pull out all of the stock wiring and re-route the new wire which can be a real pain in the butt if you don't have access to a lift to get up under the truck easily. It was particularly difficult for me as my truck is lowered.The new wiring will not fit into the stock clamps that it was routed with because the new wiring is larger, so you either need some zip ties or bigger clamps. I'm not too fond of sticking those resistor boxes to let hang on some metal either, the boxes are quite heavy, even heavier than the lights themselves, I'm probably going to reinforce them just to be on the safe side. They also aren't identical sizing to stock lights, there's a small gap at the bottom where the stock lights covered. And the clips that you snap into before tightening the screws back down proved to be a major pain to push in.After the installation headache, they work good for now. Extremely bright compared to stock, they remind me of the 02 model silverado lights which I really like. Only time will tell if they continue to work, I'll have my stock lights at hand just incase.

Reviewed a lot of LED tail lights before buying these. These are well made and come with the harness premade to plug in under the bed. They are very brite.

The product arrived in an Anzo retail box, in good condition, and less than 4 days from order to delivery. I could not wait, and decided to install them right away. The install took less than an hour, and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. They are extremely bright, and very clean looking. They look like they could be an upgraded factory light. I had no problems with install or final fitting. All gaps are within a sixteenth of original. Now, my “downside”.....The original retaining screws for the tail lights did not fit into the Anzio light. Easy enough fix, just a heads up. I don’t know if it’s my screws, or their light, but anyways. The only other thing is the wire retaining clips....yeah, those stupid little pieces of plastic...all of mine except one broke during removal, so a small bag of those will probably be needed. I will update after some miles are put on them.

The lights have new wiring all the way to the plugs next to the spare tire. The last set used the existing wiring so I am much happier with this purchase. Worth every penny.

These bright Led taillights look great on my 2013 silverado!! You can definitely see the differeance from the parking light to applying the brake or turn signal. The only reason these lights get 4 stars is the fitment is fair. There is some modification needed to the metal behind the taillights to clear the connections on the led taillights and there is about 1/8” gap towards the bed side. You have to adjust the light to get it to fit good around the edges. Install was about 1hr having the tools available to make small cuts on the metal to bend it out of the way.

Purchased this item and like them on our Silverado truck, but they do require fitting. Had to remove a portion of the metal about 1" x 3/4" rectangle in each of the tail light housing with my air saw. Was not a big deal, had what I needed to do the job, but would be a big problem if you are just an average person with normal tools looking for an easy upgrade of your factory tail lights. So no plug and play without some minor metal removal on a 2011 Silverado pickup. (Other than metal removal, was plug and play). Still like them quite well, and they look great and much brighter and safer than stock.

Packaging was good, everything arrived intact. Installation was easy with the wiring harness connecting into the factory plugs a nice feature. Unfortunately 2 weeks after installation left tail now is flashing twice as fast, right one is working fine still. Likely cause is faulty wiring/connectors or the resistor/ballast packs that came with the kit.Currently waiting on Anzo to reply to a customer service email and we'll see how that goes. I was certainly very happy with the lights when they worked, and they looked good.One other minor problem was the clips on the tabs for mounting the lights onto the truck were really cheap and nasty so I pulled the OEM ones off the old lights and reused them and installation went smoothly after that.

Red tail lights work great but the part of the harness where you put the reverse light in is bad. The metal prongs that make the connection for the bulb fell out of both sides of the harness and now I have no reverse lights. The big rectangle resistor/rectifiers are heavy and double sided tape only works for a little while, even after thiroughly cleaning the surface before sticking to anything. Then I had to ziptie them somehow. Tail lights are great those are my only complaints...also not sure how to contact the seller about this wiring harness issue...
