Compare-N-Save Glyphosate Concentrate Grass & Weed Killer Herbicide, 16-ounce

I’ve been using this product for over 10 years after trying many other weed killers that simply didn’t work well in my area. I live in southwest Texas, where aggressive wild weeds grow quickly and can take over a yard if you don’t control them early. Before finding this concentrate, I tried several ready-to-use products from local stores that were already diluted, and most of them were either too weak or too expensive for the results. I also experimented with home remedies like vinegar mixtures and even used a propane torch to burn weeds, but they usually grew back within days. Most of these weed control methods were ineffective and expensive. This concentrate has been the most reliable solution for me. When mixed according to the instructions and applied with a garden sprayer, it does a great job killing grass and stubborn weeds down to the root. The product mixes well with water and is sprayed smoothly using a generic home sprayer. I usually apply it twice a year, once in early spring and again in late summer, and that keeps most problem areas under control. One bottle goes a long way since it’s concentrated. For me, it’s much more cost-effective than buying ready-mixed products. Tips based on my experience: • It works best when you follow the recommended mixing ratio rather than making it overly strong. • If needed, apply a second treatment about two weeks later instead of using a heavy first application. • Don’t leave the solution sitting in your sprayer after you’re done. Rinse the sprayer well to prevent clogs. Overall, this has been a dependable weed control product for my yard and one of the few that consistently handles tough weeds in my area.

Much cheaper than the bigger brand, which doesn’t even market glyphosate anymore. This is a concentrated mix that can make multiple gallons of weed killer for cheap. It also has a surfactant so the killer will stick to the undesirable weeds. Mixing was easy, just follow the label. Recommend.

Second time buying this product. Works really good. I apply 8oz into 2gallons of water to cover the outside of my property and it starts showing signs of it working after 3-4 days but it’ll really show it’s working after 2 weeks. May be a bit overkill but I re apply the following week after I applied it. Easy to apply just add water and then apply the weed killer. I use a measuring cup from the dollar store just to make sure I get the right amount.

This weed killer does the job well but it takes time to see the results. In my case it took a full two weeks for all the weeds to start browning and more than three weeks to look completely dead. What's important (for me) is that the roots are dead and the weed is not coming back.

You dont need to be so careful to measure, one capful is a little under an oz, i put in my sprayer 3 capfuls add water to the one gallon line, i had four foot high weeds when i first used this product, i sprayed the leaves first then i change the sprayer to a firm stream, i hit the base of the weed near the root, You can its working right away, if you spray it on a cloudy day it stays dormant until the sun hits it, or the temp is above 70 degrees, don't give on this product, if your weeds are 6months or older it probably will take to applications, now once you killed them get Mortons pool salt its small crystals use your hand and throw liberally over the treated area, especially if you gravel or rocks, when it rains it will go deep and kill the network under rocks, the product that says ground clear on it, says, active ingredient is 2 percent salt, they it will last up to a year, Guess what they are right! This products gives me a easy start to my weed control, Its great!

Works great for killing seeds in the yard

This must be a bad batch. Agree with recent reviews that this product does not work at all. It was as though I sprayed water on the weeds. Ten days later weeds are twice their size. Don’t waste your money
