I think they are fantastic. I had a melanoma removed from my cheek. I had to wait a few weeks and have now started using the silicone bandages. Read the instructions. Cut them to size, much more economical and less obvious. Be very careful to handle, the bandages are very thin. It works so well. Since it is right in the middle of my face I thought it would look awful but they are barely visible and almost looks better. I am on my 5th day and have had a shower every morning and a face wash every night. The bandages stay put. Do not rub the area, just blot dry. It works better than the cream for me. I plan to do this for quite awhile, so that the end result will be a minimal scar

I found the strip easy enough to apply, once I understood how to do it. I shaved my shin carefully so body hair would not cause failure. Cleaned carefully by washing with residue free soap and water, dried completely and applied. The sheet applied nicely and appeared to stick properly. Imagine my surprise when it just fell off an hour later a wrinkled up ball of silicone sheet. It simply did not have enough adhesive to stay on for any length of time. I have no issue with bandaids or other bandages and steri strips sticking on. This product simply did not work for me (the first time) I had hoped it would stay on for a few days and help reduce scar formation.EDIT: 2nd attempt went perfectly. Silicone sheet remained in place and did not peel off. It has been on for 3 days now. It could be that my scar was still too fresh for it to stick on the first attempt.

Really great product, used for my facial skin cancer surgery, but you must be very careful putting them on, peel only one side and peel the other side as you are applying to the area or they will stick together. They are waterproof for showering.

This review is not for how the actual product works because I just started using it, but right off the bat I was annoyed.You only get six in the box so it didn’t start off great with this product. The backing on the silicone sheet is slit down the middle so you take off half at a time. As soon as I took off the first half the end rolled up and stuck together. It’s not easy to get it apart once that’s happened. Could this be avoided if you know it’s gonna happen? Yes, probably but you don’t know what you don’t know.So I put it on and all is OK except for one end where it’s just not quite the same anymore. I open the second one and do the same exact thing. Try to enroll the other end as much as I can. Put that one on and later on in the day when I checked on them, that one is completely rolled up and barely stuck anymore. Yes it’s in a place where it rubs against something, so take that for what it’s worth. If you had it on top of your arm or on top of your foot or your leg this particular problem probably wouldn’t happen. Unless maybe it’s rubbing against clothing?What I do like about them is the fact that they’re clear and the one remaining piece that’s still sticking seems to be OK with the exception of the one little area on the end. I’m being kind here.I probably won’t re-purchase this product simply because it’s not the right fit for me. But, I wanted others to be aware of these particular issues that may arise so you can maybe try to avoid them.

These really work. I accidentally splattered hot grease on one of my hands while cooking and suffered 2nd degree burns. After getting treated I used these as the wounds healed to try to avoid serious scarring. Nine months later and I can honestly say that the scars have faded by 98%. You can't really see them anymore and I have to really stare at the areas of my hand that were burned to try to discern just the faintest hint of any red coloration left in the skin. I used these off and on for about 3 or 4 months and would definitely use them again if I ever suffer a burn like that in the future.

So far so good. The backing is a little hard to take off but if you go slow and hold and pull you’ll be fine. I love how this silicone sheet is thin and silky smooth compared to other brands. Has not given me a reaction yet and others have. I am 5 days wearing it consecutively and it’s holding. Will be back in 2 months for update

These are tricky to put on. They are very thin and tend to curl up, sticking to itself. I wasted 3 trying to get them on but have now figured out a good method to getting them on.They last for 10 days without removing them, hopefully that makes up for the 3 I bungled.

I have t used the product long enough to know if it works well on scars but easy to use product that stays on the skin. I even cut them in Hal’s and they still stayed on
