For the price, I didn't expect solid oak, but the box is poorly made and the 'hidden' panel is clearly visible as the dowels are a different colour to the rest of the wood - absolute rubbish, on its way back to Amazon.

Looks more tacky than the one displayed, the glass doesn't slide out easy anough catches on bits of wood , plus the side what opens bigger gap on bottom, have to keep it hidden 👎

Not the most delicate of things, but given what it's meant for that's fine. The working mechanism is very stiff and will take working in, but as is will stand up to inspection by a spectator. A good little gimmick that, if used skillfully and with practice, will surprise even a close audience.

The working takes a bit of sleight of hand practice. Not necessarily for small hands. But it is a cute addition to my closeup magic.
