Tastes spoiled - I expected better from Judee’s - Edited
Mixed as directed and refrigerated overnight. The consistency was great and seemed really promising. Added freeze dried strawberry powder and mixed well. SO disappointed with the result. It has a nice tang and texture, but a really rotten tasting back flavor. Could not even detect the large amount of strawberry flavor added. Tried adding some sweetness and it didn’t help. So bummed I ordered the 5 pound bag. I use a lot of Judee’s other products, but this is a miss. Hideous flavor, almost chemical and sulfur-like . Something is not. right. Update - I can't say how pleased I am with the Judee's team. They addressed my concern and respond right away. This product did not work for me, but don't let that stop you from purchasing from them. Great products and service - Thanks so much!

I find this yogurt powder acceptable
The texture is surprisingly creamy. Easy to prepare in the refrigerator overnight. Strong flavor.

Yogurt when you want
love this product, especially for travel. When flying in late and no time to go to store, can mix it up with cold water and have my yogurt!

Disappointed
Was so excited to make my own yogurt and try out some yogurt puffs for my little ones. The powder mixed in perfectly however after leaving in the refrigerator to set it, it thickened like yogurt however had an awful after taste. When I baked it, it smelled and tasted sour and was gritty. Was very unhappy with the product which is upsetting as I was excited to try it

Mixes well
Mixes well with nice yogurt flavor. Still messing with it for that perfect consitence for me.

Powdered yogurt or milk?
It will serve its purpose however if you have ever had to drink powdered milk….you know the taste of this powder.

Has odd aftertaste; doesn't work like fresh in baking
I had high hopes for this powder based on other reviews. I planned to use it in baking. I tried out the recipe in corn muffins. Usually the addition of yogurt improves muffin height and texture. I added the powder as directed on the package then water to dry ingredients per the proper volume. The batter seemed thinner and the baked muffins were rather flat (see photo on left using product v. photo on right with fresh yogurt). Both my husband and I could detect an odd aftertaste with the product in batter and finished baked goods. Disappointed that few others noted this. The aftertaste is strong enough, and the absence of beneficial effect sadly, is such that we won't buy this product again. It's a great idea, if you can work out the kinks.
