Aetrex Women's Paraiso Sandalistas-Lynco Footbed

I have flat feet and arthritis in my mid foot, so finding comfortable sandals (which I wear almost all the time in summer) is very important to me. These sandals have a really strong built-in arch that is perfect for my feet and really reduced the foot pain I would normally feel when wearing shoes without orthotics. I also loved that the velcro straps were totally readjustable and the velcro has held firm. Based on what these shoes did for my feet, I would buy them again in a second...BUT... they have not held up like I thought they should for shoes of this price. The sole edges of the shoe (about a half inch) are covered with the same color of leather as the straps, but the covering is THIN. Within 4 weeks, I scuffed one of the toes right through the leather which then was hanging until I trimmed it off. The second sandal did the same a month later. Finally, one sole is now starting to detach at the front and back. These sandals will make it through the season, but I'll never get another year out of these which was my hope.

I thought the Aetrex Paraiso was going to be the sandal I've been looking for. It has all the right features and has good construction for the price. I was disappointed. The straps were sharp at the edges and cut into my toes and ankles. The foot bed felt wonderful but I can't risk a blister or an abrasion. I have an average to slim foot. Sorry Aetrex!

I have arthritic feet and bunions too. The adjustable strap is awesome across the widest part of the shoe. They arch is perfect for support and relief from foot pain. BUT they wear out way to fast for the price. I will admit they were so great as far as comfort that I wore them a lot...but they only lasted six months before the covering started to have a "peel" look. If the quality were better I would buy a lot more...the comfort was very good.

The fit is poor because the velcro on the heel strap will only go so far, leaving a wide gap between it and my heel. Also, the leather at the toe started peeling where it meets the sole. I had experienced this poor quality before in an Aetrex sandal, but wrongfully thought I'd have better luck with this different style. Aetrex shoes can be quite comfortable, but only when they fit well.

I like these sandals because you can adjust all straps and they are comfortable. I have trouble with my feet and I can wear these sandals for hours.

The Aetrex Sandals have to be the most comfortable sandal I have ever, ever used. Such a nice footbed! Only problem I had was that no wide's were available when I had to have them. Ordered the regular width and with the velcro strap, I think I can get by.

This is the 3rd pair I buy. I hope they continue making these because they saved my feet from the painful effects of Plantar Fascitis. For 2 months I could not walk with any other shoe, when my first pair went bust, I tried buying another pair and Aetrex had stopped making them. They're a seasonal item, according to them. Not in Florida. Thankfully, they made them again but, I would find only one pair in my size.I will keep buying these again and again, for as long as they make them.

Good fit and support, looks stylish and holding up well, plan to purchase another pair in the future when needed.
