UAG Samsung Galaxy S5 Feather-Light Composite [SLATE] Military Drop Tested Phone Case

My husband is probably the clumsiest person on earth, no seriously he sucks at keeping his phones in nice condition. He has a bad case of the drops and his phone is constantly misplaced so when it was time for him to upgrade to something a little better than the ordinary flip phone, I was slightly terrified that his screen would be cracked in less than probably 5 minutes, So as the phone was on its way to our house via UPS, I was on amazon desperately looking for something that would keep this several hundred dollar phone is good condition longer than a few months. I found this case and saw how well it was made and was instantly intrigued by both the way it looks and the nice steel blue color that fits my husbands personality. I purchased it soon after and once it arrived I put it on hubbys phone in about 10 seconds with ease. Im happy to say that after being dropped several hundred times, some of those times when I was sure it was broken, and dropped on concrete, pavement and many many other places The phone doesnt have a single scratch on it. Paired well with tempered glass and a well made phone Im happy to say this has lasted nearly 6 months now and I dont see it giving up any time soon.Now if only it was water proof... my worries would fade away..... ======UPDATED REVIEW=====After 3 years, this is the BEST case. My S5 phone still looks like NEW, because of how well the UAG case protected it. I have dropped it countless times and the S5 still works.... I will never go back to OtterBucks, I mean Otterbox, because UAG WINS....CASE CLOSED!!!!------Original review on October 2014-----Better than the Otterbox junk I have been using before. The fit and finish is superior to Otterbox. UAG makes sure that the holes, cutouts and corners all fit perfectly. Otterbox junk always has at least one hole that doesn't line up right or the fit and finish is substantially inaccurate.I will stay with UAG until I find a Better product.

I've always been a fan of simple, subtle, reliable and affordable designs. With the GS5 already being waterproof you don't need to worry about that. This case is literally just a snap on installation, with the exception of the screen cover, which is a giant pain in the assembly, because it's held onto the screen by static, and likes to pick up lots of dust during the application, leaving little raised bumps all over your screen.The adjustments are very positive and interface with the phone correctly. The finish is nice, and the case feels pretty solid. Haven't dropped the phone yet but will modify the review with feedback once it inevitably happens.

I've been abusing this case for about 20 months now and it's held up great. Only in the last 2 months have I actually damaged it, but that was trying to use it as a bottle opener so...Paired with a glass screen protector my phone has survived a lot of drops and other such neglect.

This provide excellent protection without all the bulkiness. I've dropped it from about 3-4 feet on it's corners and it bounces around with the phone completely unscathed. It figs snug when you put the phone in and can be removed without any problems. It also does not put on the edge of my screen protector to cause any bubbles like some other cases might. Definitely worth the purchase.

The best case I have ever purchased!! Had 1 on my S3 for a little over a year and a half and not even a scratch on my phone! Just got another one for my new S5. Very durable, perfect fit and looks cool. I'm one of those people that don't rate or leave feedback but after using this case in the field as a cable contractor in all kinds of weather and conditions I have to give a very high rating and will be buying many more in the future!

Great phone protection. I also bought one for my S7. I have not seen anything better than these UAG creations. They feel great and the buttons work well. Easy to feel and operate by touch. Utilitarian all the way. They just work with no stupid gimmicks.

Easy on, easy off. Fits in a pocket pretty well. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the buttons are not quite as obvious to the touch as they should be. I mounted a Nite-Ize Steelie to the back and it still fits into a pocket easy.

I switched to this from an Otterbox Commuter case which had started to disintegrate after only 10 months. So much slimmer than the Otterbox but still provides the same level of protection (I can vouch for this as I drop my phone...a lot!)Also a common failing with the commuter case was the flaps that cover the headphone and charger sockets tend to break off after a lot of use. Not an issue with this case as they've (sensibly in my opinion) omitted these which also makes plugging in quicker and easier.Comes with a screen protector as well which I hadn't realised, plus the usual accessories to apply it.All in all good value for money

Div Handyhüllen hat sicherlich schon jeder ausprobiert, hier passt es nicht dort war da Material schnell brüchig. Bei dieser stimmt nach nun fast einem Jahr intensivster Beanspruchung in der Werkstatt wie auch draußen im Gelände noch alles. Es schützt wirkungsvoll !!!

La custodia a un impatto estetico deciso, stile ROBOCOP....Il telefono perde in longilineità ma sicuramente viene protetto nel miglior modo,i tasti a lato sono ben fatti ed ingrandiscono quelli originalidiventando anche più comodi mentre i bordi sono protetti da gomma nera.

Passt genau und sieht gut aus. Displayschutzfolie ist schnell montiert und sieht sauber aus. Ich denke, der Schutz passt auch. Die Ecken sind extra verstärkt und die Hülle steht auch etwas über das Display hinaus. Mehr kann man nicht verlangen. Sicher wird ein Sturz auf einen Stein o.ä. direkt mit dem Display nicht ohne Folgen bleiben, aber alle anderen sollten abgehalten werden.

Ich bin auch nach monatelangem Gebrauch noch begeistert.Die Hülle ist etwas dicker als der übliche Billig Kram und meiner Meinung ein Genuss für jede Männerhand.Stürze auf Ecken und Kanten wurden bisher immer abgefedert.

Halloalso erstmal zur Optik, ich finde sie top schönes Case macht was her.Das war es aber auch schon, für den Preis ist die Qualität echt unterirdisch das Handy ist nicht runter gefallen aber die Hülle ist übersät mit Risse.Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt ist die billige Material Anmutung beim anfassen, die Hülle fast sich an wie billigstes PlastikFür den Preis ein no go Schade.Für mich ganz klar keine Kaufempfehlung !!!!!!!

Diese Hülle ist absolut perfekt:+ sitz passgenau+ absolut robust hält auch einen Sturz von 2,5m aus und schützt dabei das Handy+ sieht gut aus- die Folie ist nur bedingt nutzbar, man sollte besser GorillaGlas nehmen

I'm satisfied with the phone case. It protects everything well as described in the add. I've gotten compliments from other video games fans as the case resembles armor from Halo.

Quite big but you can give a hard time to your phone without any stress.
