Is there an option in the app to save the temperature charts or export the data?

Hi! There is no option to save temperature data, however, you can export your graph to a CSV file. Head to the graph view and tap on the icon at the top, right-hand corner of the app. Then, input your email address and you will receive your temperature date in a CSV file. Thanks!

It appears this replaces the lp/propane monitor on genesis ii lx s-640, so does it also monitor the amount of fuel left in tank?

Hi Jim! The iGrill 3 takes the place of the fuel gauge on the Genesis II LX and you will be able to monitor your fuel levels via the Weber iGrill App. You will also receive alerts when your tank is low or empty. Hope this helps!

Are there any major functional differences between iGrill 2 and iGrill 3? Is it just what specific grills they're compatible with?

The iGrill 2 and iGrill 3 are virtually the same unit with the exception that the iGrill 2 can act as a standalone accessory whereas the iGrill 3 is only compatible with the Genesis II and Genesis II LX grills. I thought the igrill3 already came as a standard feature on genesis 2 models. Would i need to purchase genesis 2 then purchase igrill 3 separately?

If u bought the $800 grill then it's IGrill ready, you then need to buy $99 Bluetooth sensor with probes, The grill u bought would need to say iGrill ready
